Lovely house with amazing views, in a nice location, huge secured garden which is perfect for kids and dog. Access to coastal walk from the back garden is very special and awesome. Nice friendly owners, thanks Carol for having us.

Wifi didn't reach the back room and rather intermittent in the dining area, but no issues as you get very strong mobile signals :)

We were given a very warm welcome upon arrival. Everything we could possibly need to know about the accommodation was all provided in a booklet. There was plenty of space for our large family and it was very comfortable and clean. We used it as a base to travel into Blackpool. We would absolutely recommend Dolphin House to everyone!

We can't think of anything to complain about. The hosts were wonderful!

Beautiful location, friendly hosts, nice breakfast and bottle of wine left as a welcome for us. Gate at the end of the garden opens onto a steep grassy bank - when you climb to the top you can walk the pathway down to Knott End and view beautiful sunrises and sets, wildlife and the sea. If the bank is too steep, walk up the road a few houses and there is another entrance that is less steep. I think there is also a more accessible pathway further along, but not sure what road it is on. The house is situated near to Knott End (Knott End Cafe (brilliant breakfasts and fancy ice cream), beach, bakery & fish and chips) Fleetwood (nice 'old school' market), Blackpool (mini golf, Pleasure Beach, Waterpark) and Thornton Cleveleys (cinema, ice cream, long walks and really wonderful sandy beach - we spent a day there with a picnic). We had a really relaxing holiday - which we all needed, the area is very quiet and the neighbours were friendly.

It would have been useful to have had more details in the house manual on how to use the very smart hob and oven - just to make sure it is used properly.

We liked everything about this property, it is absolutely perfect. Much better than we expected. It has absolutely everything you need, and in a perfect location for walks on the beach. The owners are amazing and went above and beyond to make sure we were all good. We will be back again soon!!

Great house in an excellent location. Lots of space, comfy beds & a large garden. There is now a summer house with a bar!

Location was great, not only close to the sea and local amenities but close to family too. Dolphin House was clean, comfortable, spacious. Dog towels and dishes are also provided. Our two dogs loved the garden. We had gales, rain and even snow during our stay but still had a great time! Look forward to visiting again.

it was a nice big house plenty of room for us all and a nice big garden for the dogs. The sea front was literally out the gate at the bottom of the garden 😊

There wasn’t anything to dislike.

With such a large group (7 adults a teenager and 2 young kids) we still found the place big enough for everyone to have their own space. All the rooms were spacious , comfortable and felt very homely. A perfect place to come back to after a day out in Blackpool or anywhere else nearby. Our host was easy to contact if required but fortunately we had no need to. Thank you so much for having us.

Absolutely fantastic value for money. Great location, only a half hour drive to Blackpool. Went as a group with 5 adults and 3 children, perfect size house for us all. 5 Great size rooms. Great holiday all round. Would definitely book this house again!
