Great Location

Was under the impression we would have better ocean views. The Room was very tired and needs a huge makeover.

Great price and location and had a small courtyard with an ocean view. Lovely pool and surrounding area. Car parking available and lift to room. Restaurant and bar just next door and the beach across the road.

This room was dated but very clean and comfortable. We chose it for the price so this was expected and we were very happy. The only suggestion I would make that would be quick and easy, change the light bulbs. I guess in summer it would be nice and cool but in winter it appeared a little gloomy.

Great location, the bars next door had amazing happy hour options. We loved going for walks to the cliff to look for Turtles and Rays

Bed was pretty stiff, the washing machine filter was filthy so didn’t want to risk the spa bath.

the room smelt bad, like drains. there was no sheer curtain only black out curtains, and as there are more units directly next door the choice was zero privacy or darkness. There was a spa bath in the room but no bath plug and when I asked I was told one would be provided, it wasn’t. There was a large stain on the carpet and the furniture was chipped and tatty.

Poor tea/coffe selection, room wasn't as good as expected

The things I liked about the Beach Retreat was I received excellent customer service, everything was extremely close. The bed was very comfortable. The pool was wonderful, and it had a great size fridge.

The photos on Booking.com we’re nothing like the room we booked so we had to arrange for a change over . The owner was understanding and changed our room but if it was fully booked , we would have been very disappointed. The internet and phone reception isn’t the best and we are with Telstra. 🌟

Close to everything and a great view.

The location was the only positive thing

Firstly there was no guarantee of a car park, which I wasn't told when I booked. On arriving the paper they provided me informed me that it's pot luck who gets the carparks. Two of the three nights I didn't arrive back to the unit until after 9pm and there was no car spaces. As I'm not familiar with the area I had to park across the road for beach parking. I worried all night that something might happen to my car or I would get a fine. If I'd known there was the possibility of no car parking I probably wouldn't have booked the accommodation. Secondly the only window to the room was a sliding door. I need fresh air, I do not use air conditioning. However there was no screen door only a glass sliding door. As I had the sliding door open whenever I was in the room I felt exposed and a little unsafe not having a screen door as well. My last comment would be I received better service and room facilities in an $90 a night pub room than paying 3 times the amount for this accommodation. This was a birthday treat for myself and felt soo disappointed. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

The carpark was great, along with the pools and spa area etc. We were very happy with our stay.

There was no advertising that I saw of that stated we had no kitchen - which was fine but we weren't aware until arrival.

The room was filthy, we arrived and the room wasn’t complete. You will have to go through the cupboards and find sheets to make your own bed, there was no duvet, you do not get provided towels or tea towels but they expect you to clean the dishes or you get charged extra (you need to clean the place before you leave because they clearly don’t clean it for their next visitors), the spa was green. Not soundproof, can hear everything from outside. No parking is available. Walk in and it’s honestly like a prison. If you want a nice holiday, I would not recommend coming here.

Had the same towels for five days. Toilet paper was not replaced had to get some myself.

Location was convenient

Room very basic and smelt like sewer. Facilities were accessible to the open and not very private from rooms or street. Rooms needed more attention and maintained.
