Cambio habitación cuando ya estábamos en ascensor. Ruidos de otros huéspedes. Instalaciones obsoletas. Proponen de nuevo otro cambio cuando planeamos estar seis noches tranquilas. Finalmente nos fuimos antes de tiempo porque tan mala organización se hacía insufrible.

El hotel tiene recepcion 24h, el personal es muy amable sea la hora que sea. El hotel esta muy limpio, las habitaciones son amplias, luminosas y comodas.

Algunas cosas como la bañera estan un poco obsoletas.

The position is situated at the top of a huge hill so unless you're young and fit or you have a hire career you will need a taxi up and down to the town . The rooms were in need of an upgrade and poor by comparison. The breakfast was also quite poor for the money . The pool area bar food choices were limited. The pool area closes at 7pm so if your like us and like to take the evening sun laying on a sunbed with a beer or glass of wine reading etc forget it you are kicked off your sunbeds bang on 7pm ( maybe that’s harsh ) you are asked politely to leave your sunbeds at 7pm) never ate in there main restaurant so can’t comment but it looked old fashioned and dingy .I asked if there was a shuttle service to help with the hill climb and they looked at me as if I had two heads !! I wouldn’t recommend staying there but it may float your boat ! There are far nicer places down in the town of casteldefells

The pool area is amazing, with beds, sun and shadows. Nice atmosphere, the cafeteria guys are nice and serving you while around the pool.

Noisy corridor in the morning. Twin beds not attached together, you can fall in between them. Rooms are OK but nothing crazy. The 4 stars are just for the pool, the rest of the hotel is a 3 stars.

The terrace had a stunning view which added to the experience of our stay. Our room was large and nicely furnished with comfortable beds. I was very impressed with the buffet breakfast, there was a very large selection of things to have and everything was delicious so would highly recommend this. The pool is a good size and has incredible views all around. The staff were all very friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

The only downside was that you have to get a taxi to the beach and train station as there didn't seem to be a walking path down the hill.

The front staff were very friendly and accommodating. Thank you Raoul. Had heard negative experiences but everyone was very helpful and friendly and remembered my name even though we were only there for two nights.

Our only negative would be there are not a lot of places to eat. Breakfast was great but as far as lunch and dinner, the facility is so full because of conferences it does not leave many open spots for other guests.

non responsive to messages, wouldn’t recommend attempting to contact hotel via booking.com. Bedding situation was 2 single beds. Very uncomfortable. Was advised the hotel was a 15 minute walk from train station however they neglected to let me know it was up a very steep hill… So you can imagine pushing suitcases up that. Bathroom light did not work.

While we were there, they had a convention. These people were rude, loud and had no regard for any other clients staying at the property. This went on for the nights we were there When I finally went down to the front desk about 11 30 pm the second evening the night manager got up from his huge dinner and basically told me there was nothing he could do and that I SHOULD HAVE READ THE SMALL PRINT!!! WTF... I was so upset. He also said they were told to keep it down. Yeah right...they did nothing. Slammming doors, loud music, yelling outside our window and hallway. The next day I again complained to a lady at the front desk who dismissed us as soon as she could. She could not get us out of there fast enough. Basically, they are the money makers not me and my husband. I am totally disgusted with this property and it has left Spain with a bad taste in our mouths. If this property books conventions they need to tell prospective clients...it makes a huge difference I URGE booking.com to remove this property from their vast selection. We would have been so much happier at a different location. NOT TO MENTION THEY WERE PRICEY FOR OUR BUDGET BUT WE THOUGHT WE WOULD SPLUGE FOR OUR LAST 2 NIGHTS IN SPAIN!!

Very pleasant, relaxed location, excellent for business purposes, close enough to Barcelona, not crowded (i hate crowded environments), excellent also for stays with family.

Love the real castle by the pool. A lovely spot for coffee, the location so convenient to airport, parking, spacious rooms. We are coming back again!

There was a wedding that went until 5 am so parking was a bit less available on arrival at 4 am but I imagine such all-night revelry is rare! On the upside you can arrive all night from airport.

no kettle in the room. no free water (not even welcoming water). kitchen in the restaurant works only from 13:00. The room was dusty upon arrival. especially in the wardrobe.
