Helpful staff, in-room open air onsen, kaiseku dinner was excellent

The room was great. The bath on the balcony was fantastic. The staff was phenomenal. Extremely nice and helpful. Considering the level of the food and the room, the value for money was really good too!

The only thing was the exterior of the hotel. Typical great hotel but the exterior has been let to decay so from the outside, it doesn't even look like a place you can stay. It's understandable, especially after all the years of covid restrictions. Many places like that suffered from these controversial measures.

The in-room open air onsen is a luxury. The dinner was also terribly good. Although the staff did not speak good English, they still tried very hard to communicate with us and made our stay very comfortable. The view of the ocean is nice and tranquil.

We like the services from concierge to the dinning at our room. And the view from our in-room onsen is perfect as well.

It would be great if the room can be totally covered by curtain to block most of the light from sunshine when we sleeping.

I liked the private onsen and the public onsen both were really good! Also the food was great!! I'll definitely go back to this place again.

In-room open air hot spring bath with stunning view. Dinner served in room was rich and delicious (kaiseki ryori style). Staff very kind.

Food was terrific, Onsen was very hot the staff was extremely friendly. We’d come again. Kid friendly indeed.

Room was smaller than expected

The private onsen in each room is a good idea as it is comfortable to soak in hot water and listening to the sound of pounding waves, conveniently in your own room; provided the weather is good enough for you to stay out as occasionally it could be very windy with howling sound. Of course, the public bath is more roomy and comfy with amenities, which we also made use of. The room is spacious for 2 people with a sofa for you to view the sunset. Do try to check-in early as this property has good sunset view; we missed it this time as we were a bit late and the weather was not too sunny that day. Meals were served in their restaurant in individual cubicle with curtain, thus serve the purpose of privacy and have a cozy feel. The staff was on the lookout for our arrival and provided quick guidance on parking and we had a speedy check-in.

As I had been staying at Arujisu before, I felt that the meals were served a little bit hasty this time, but overall we had good service during our stay.
