Beautiful view, didn’t lack anything facilities-wise, very private, easy to get to, great location on top of peninsula and last house on the street, helpful instructions, very clean and comfortable. Kaikoura also turned on the weather for us - snow on the mountains, sun in the sky, no wind. What a cracker of a place!

A little more rustic than we expected and the view, while beautiful, is only available in full from corners of the deck, so it felt slightly overpriced - but the balance is definitely in favour of it being a great place to stay, and would do so again.

smell, oven hobs not working well or too hot, the bath in the deck in photos wasn’t part of the Bach, we couldn’t use it.

stayed at the Bach - pictures suggested an outdoor bath but this was on the other side. this was likely our oversight. deck could really use an outdoor dining table and chairs

Perfect set up for a couples weekend away in a great location.

The location and view is superb! The property is cosy and well set up with everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and the owner was very helpful with information and suggestions for our visit.

The view, the location, the cleanliness, a comfortable bed, extra blankets.

There was a cold snap and we were cold. Heater is small but bed is warm.

Due to being an older home, it was quite drafty around the sliding door onto the deck, but the heating was really efficient so we weren't cold.

we absolutely loved staying here. Room with a view doesn’t disappoint. we woke up to the most spectacular sunrise you’ve ever seen. The cottage was so comfy and cosy. We’ve stayed in 5 places since being here and this was by far our favourite!!

Nothing bad to say. Loved it! wish we’d stayed another day.

The view was unreal! I have never stayed at a place with such an incredible panoramic. We watched a beautiful sunset out the front and I sat with a cup of tea in the sitting room and watched it rise again the following morning. There was so many blankets and heaters everything felt cosy really quickly.

Some of the cutlery in the drawer was dirty but I guess it’s hard to check everything!

Best accommodation we have stayed in by far...ever! Comfortable and cosy, heater on when we arrived, every little thought provided for and outdoor bath the BEST. Slept better than we have in months. Close to township, quiet...perfect!

The property had stunning views! You could sit there on the balcony and stare out all day . Great holiday house with usual amenities. Our two dogs felt very comfortable and grass to do their business. Secure balcony to keep them inside.

With the rate you paid - a coffee machine wouldve been a bonus. However did have a coffee plunger. (only being picky now ) Having a gate across the drive way wouldve given extra security. (again being picky)
