Lovely and cosy. Loved the wood. The outside and the interior. The setting is beautiful with mountains, a stave church, and a fast running river going by. The decor gave a flavour of traditional Norway without being obviously touristy. Gave a taste of olden times. Dining room was bright and spacious with lovely views. Great breakfast buffet. They even had porridge. We ate dinner in the restaurant which was excellent and used traditional Norwegian ingredients like venison and the brown cheese cheesecake was delicious. Staff were very polite and helpful. The rooms were small but perfectly fine with comfortable beds and very clean.

struttura datata. Vecchia moquette nelle camere, bagni da aggiornare, poche prese elettriche e di scomodo utilizzo. Ristorante con menu “sofisticato” e con pochissima scelta (4portate).

It was good although bread was not brilliant, lack of smoothies and juices and no smoked salmon. Compared to other breakfasts, 7 out of 10.

Location was great, close to walk int the village. The room had a lovely view and the food was superb.

The room was very hot when we arrived and there was no fan available. Parking was not quite as easy as we hoped.
