De uitstraling van het pand was prachtig. Zeker toen we met sneeuw aankwamen. Het ontbijt is inderdaad geweldig. Zeer goed verzorgd en uitgebreid. Heerlijk wandelen ook in de omgeving. Het personeel was erg vriendelijk en er werd meegedacht.

We hebben dit hotel geboekt omdat er een sauna en zwembad aanwezig waren. Hier hadden we ons op verheugd. Het was een teleurstelling dat toen we aankwamen het zwembad en de sauna in reparatie waren (al vanaf augustus Storm Hans). Dit was o.i. niet aangegeven toen we boekte. We kregen op ons verzoek een betere kamer met ligbad en meer uitzicht. Dat compenseerde weer een beetje. Wij blondines zagen grote zwarte haren in het bad.. dat was wat minder. De entree is mooi, de rest wat oudbollig. Met een kleine investering kan dit ons inziens worden verbeterd.

Lake View rooms are not worth the extra $10 unless you are on the top floor. Hotel was very busy but only one young girl on check-in so the line was out the door.

A bit old hotel, seen better days. Overall not bad for stopping by on the way across the country. Breakfast amazing as you would expect from Scandic hotel :)

Scandic breakfast was wonderful as usual. The location of the hotel is perfect also when you travel by bus. The staff is very welcoming and accommodating - I could check in earlier than the check in time on my booking.

Over all the hotel is a bit old - I felt the carpets in the room were not the cleanest and towels a bit stuffy. My bedside reading lamp didn't work and the shower was missing a door. Everything was tidy but the furniture had lost its form due to I guess age etc. I know it's Norway and prices here are higher but I think the one night stay was not worth the approx. 120€ I paid.

Excellent breakfast with many choices and room to move around! Heated bathroom floor, hanging space and few shelves for clothes. Bed comfy. Lots of common spaces which we did not use.

Small room was adequate but could use refurbishment.

Staff is friendly

Bed was old and matrass too soft. I had back pain when I woke up next morning. Upholstery filling in only chair was worn so that you felt the frame when sitting. Hotel room looked very old and tired.
