Trevligt att än en gång besöka min födelsestad (då fanns även BB) vi bodde i Hargshamn då. Staden har utvecklats,( men ännu finns stora möjligheter till vidareutveckling !) Arrangemang som t.ex. förbättrad gästhamn skulle vara en stor/större/ attraktion

Rooms nicely decorated in shabby chic -style, good bath-products, cozy breakfast room and tasty breakfast assortment. Nice garden, where you can spend time, if the weather is good.

Personnel not able to handle reclamation in a constructive manner, rather leaving an arrogant impression and lecturing the customer about how to book the rooms: They seem to have some problems with booking.com-reservations and a rather arrogant attitude towards those bookings. As a family we had booked two rooms (each with 1 adult and 1 child). We ended up staying in two separate buildings, which was inconvenient. There was no possibility to rearrange, not even for the 2. night of our stay. The explanation was that they had no way of knowing that we are a family and would like to have rooms close to each other – this even when the bookings were under same name. It is sad, that the problems between the hotel and the booking.com -system end up being customer’s fault. In one of our rooms the shower-space was so tiny and poorly ventilated, that we all ended up using the shower in the other room (even though it was in the other building, so it was quite a show). If the weather is poor, there is no place to hang out in the evening as a group (rooms are too small for that).

We arrived very late, left very early in the morning, came back again very late and finally left very early. Getting keys and departing the hotel was well arranged.

Friendly atmosphere, cozy (although small) rooms and helpful host. Good location in Östhammar.

This is now, without doubt, a favorite hotel of mine. A lot of effort has been made to establish a homely and friendly feel to the place… …and it sure has been successful. The location is very central, the room we had was of a good size and lovely decorated. As if this wasn’t enough, the breakfast turned out to be outstanding and, to top it all off, the owner was one of the most pleasant persons I’ve met in a long time. All in all I can’t recommend Johanssons Gårdshotell enough.

Amazing private old courtyard with small buildings around it.

Our room was very small but we were able to sit in the lovely common room that felt like cozy living room.
