Right by the market. Quiet. Great colonial building and courtyard was nice. Restaurant on site. Comfortable room. Help with the parking, which was about 100 meters away. Right on the little square.

When I arrived they had an unexperienced staff person who had no language skills and did not know what was going on. That seemed to just be the way it is there. There was a fellow in the restaurant who had lived in California for years who was very helpful, and a very nice person.

Booking.com advertised a Queen-suite. There are no queen beds in this hotel, the room had a double bed and in addition to the taxes NOT SHOWN IN THE FINAL FEE, we had to ask for an upgrade as the double bed is short for someone 6ft+. We came in January and Patzcuare is cold in those days. The rooms have no carpet and the floor is made of tiles so the rooms are cold and not comfortable to walk on barefoot. Our room was close to the stairs and it was noisy.
