Il soggiorno presso questa guest house è stato davvero piacevole, sia per la splendida vista su Ella's rock e le montagne circostanti, sia per la gentilezza dei proprietari. Inoltre la colazione e le cene sono state deliziose. La struttura è leggermente defilata dal centro, ma a pochi minuti a piedi dalla via principale di Ella, questo è un vantaggio poichè è fuori dal caos cittadino dei locali notturni, ma è ben ubicata per raggiungere facilmente il centro.

At first, the moment we arrived they suddenly told us our room was not available and that we had to stay in another room for one night. We booked a deluxe room for 3 nights, but our first night was all of a sudden in a budget room. The difference between the rooms was huge. They didn't give us any notice or other options. At the checkout they even tried to charge us for 3 nights in de deluxe room. When we pointed at that it was not the right price they lowered our check with 1000 roepies. This price was still way to high!!! And then: - the wifi is not working; - the door of the deluxe room could not close/locked, which left the door always open for about 3 centimeters; - the steps to the deluxe room were dangerous because some of the steps were completely loose. You had to skip those steps for your own safety; - every morning there is some singing/music starting at 05:30 am and it goes on for like 30 minutes; - around the same time you will definitely wake up because of the tuktuks starting their engines and keeping them on for quite some time and of course using their claxons; - the hotel is outside the city center, which is fine, but even then you will wake up early because of all the noise; - Worst breakfast we have had in Sri Lanka; - the budget room was very moist and humid. The next morning our clothes felt very moist. This is probably because non of the rooms have an AC. On big compliment to the girl working there. She works really hard while the owners are just chilling on their couch. We felt sorry for her :(

Very friendly hosts. Great location away from the noise of Ella but a quick shortcut to get into town. Excellent laundry service. Nice area to sit outside with great views.

The room is very cozy, with a lovely view to the mountains. It was clean and the host was nice.

There were multiple electricity cuts during the night that made it impossible to sleep, I would assume by paying the price here which is above average, the guest house would have a generator. Also, it was hard sleeping as our room was close to a temple which prayed with drums in the middle of the night, and we could hear the buses and trucks from the road down the hill.

Amazing family home surrounded by the greenery of Ella. Cozy little rooms with a lovely chill area to relax and great breakfasts cooked by the host.

The location is quiet, although hard to find. there is a footpath through the forest which makes it closer to the center. Do not expect too much luxury when booking the budget room. Host is friendly. Mosquito net is provided.

Booked for 2 nights but stayed for one night, because of changing plans. I had to pay the full amount, the host said he cannot cancel anything

I really enjoy the location with 10min walk from Main Street while very quite located in the valley, with good view of Ella Rock. Family speak a little English and very friendly.

bathroom only 30 Celsius degree water, I can deal with it in summer not sure how about winter, and some ants on the wall.
