A large room with an amazing view. The bathroom and room itself were very clean and the shower was amazing. Furthermore, the staff was very friendly and helpful.

The view from this place is INCREDIBLE, and the room is nice and spacious with a comfortable balcony. The staff is also very welcoming and friendly, with good suggestions and information about the area.

You have to walk up two or three flights of stairs to get to the room, but it’s honestly 110% worth it for the view. Not the best spot if you want quiet, as the buses all lay on their horns to warn oncoming traffic as they approach the hairpin turns on the road past the hotel.

The food from the menu was terrible. Breakfast was ok. Had no internet connection 😕 and in house phone was disconnected. The general feeling was one of great dissatisfaction.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, they couldn't do enough! Big rooms, very comfortable bed and incredible views.

The hotel is very run down and room was not very clean at all. The hairdryer was sticky, old food on the floor and bad smell in the bathroom.

This hotel is a very poor standard, and is extremely overpriced for the accommodation it is offering. Curtains are ripped, floors dirty, seats old worn and filthy. Yes there is a view as long as you don’t mind sitting next to an old cot (which remained on our balcony the entire time, not sure why), peeling paint and very loud road noise. We were offered an ‘upgrade’ but on inspection this room offered nothing different than what we had. if we had not booked a non-refundable room we would have walked out after check in.

Amazing staff, wonderful breathtaking view!! We were kindly upgraded, however all the balcony rooms will have the same amazing views. Breakfast was served on the balcony.

Decor could be upgraded slightly, as well as tight doors to prevent any lizards etc from coming in.

We really liked the view from the balcony. The bed with the mosquito net was comfortable and useful.

The room was dirty and shabby. There was a really bad odoeur in the bathroom. The towels and the bathmat were washed but neither smell good nor look good. They were brown with stains on it. Also the blankets and pillows. In the night there was a rat in the roof beams. In the hotel worked a man, who is also a tuk tuk driver. He charged us triple the prize to ella than other drivers. We were disappointed about it. We can't understand the good recommendations of this hotel.

we moved to this hotel due to its proximity to ella town centre as we were staying quite far out. The staff were amazing, so welcoming and helpful. They sorted us a cooking class and were extremely accommodating. The views from the room were also amazing.

We were woken in the middle of the night to the sound of a rat helping itself to our doughnut that was in plastic packaging. We were unsure at first what took the doughnut but when packing up we saw a rat scamper from under the bed to the wardrobe - to the same location as our now half eaten doughnut. Under the sink there was also a dead mouse which had clearly been there for some time.

The view from our room at Misty Hills was amazing! It must be one of the best views of the Ella Gap in Ella. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, air conditioned and there was good wifi. We had home made roti for breakfast wehich was delicious! The staff were very friendly and gave us many good tips for our short trip.

The view from the room is breathtaking! The staff are all so so wonderful and friendly. They will help you with any planning, any meals you may want and really accommodate any needs. The room was spacious and clean. Any issues we had were immediately addressed and we felt so comfortable as a result. You can walk to town very easily also along the road. They also looked after our driver very well. Highly highly recommend this place!

WiFi was weak but shouldn't stop you from staying here.

The man at the reception was nice.

We booked the delux room. I am 172cm tall and my feet were outside the hard bed. My boyfriend is taller then me so it was even worse for him… The hotel next to the place where playing loud music so we didnt get much sleep.
