The perfect place and lovely host! Everything exceeded our expectations. It was a great experience, nice surrounding, tasty food, large and clean rooms. Next stay will be for sure longer.

I am very pleased and would recommend to everyone - wonderful, very friendly and helpful owner. Property very clean, great location in the heart of the mountains. Very good breakfast. I would love to come back here for another holiday

Second visit here. Same nice atmosphere, same great owners, lovely breakfast, exceptional dinners, quiet and relaxing. Clean room and...weather better than expected.

Breakfast was great, like in 4* hotels!
Breakfast starts only at 8:30. For hikers that need to get up very early something should be available.

This was truly an amazing place. It is somewhat cut from a fairy tale, quiet, yet with a steam passing through the back yard, serene, green and full of surprises at every corner: from the delicious, organic food, to the hospitable and full of wit host. Hiking is just around the corner and so are so many attractions, but I will come back for the way this place and the owners made me feel :-).

This is the most magical place in all of Transylvania! The hosts have created a homely atmosphere and guests feel really special here. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to explore nature, the mountains or just take a break from the everyday hustle and bustle!

Friendly yet discreet host. The property is located in a beautiful garden with numerous apple trees and landscaping delights. The surrounding area is spectacular.
The room is as shown in the photographs.
We visited at the end of the season and the kitchen was closed but the host still provided us with everything we needed to enjoy food that we purchased.

Hosts are very nice and welcoming. The house is a little corner in Heaven. The place is good for hiking, with a lot of possibilities, from easy hiking trips to Sambata's Valley Cabin to more difficult ones, such as Vistisoara glaciar lake.

Casa Bunicului exceeded our expectations, it's an oasis of tranquility with plenty of facilities to relax with a wonderful view of the mountains. We were there for a weekend and we decided to take the entire Saturday to enjoy everything that they offer on site. Awesome that they have a cool river just behind the house to get away from the heat. We enjoyed the mountain view from our room, there's no better feeling than waking up to a whole mountain :). The house is full of nice details, you can see the attention to quality from the owners. We enjoyed a lot the food, you can feel that it's done with love and most of the ingredients are local and fresh. Most importantly, everything was very, very clean. Great place for a couple to enjoy some time off.
