Quiet and large room. Staff very friendly and good meals.
Room could use more light. Kinda far from Ubud center but the hostel organizes day tours which was nice but our driver was an hour late.

It's my home in Ubud!
I stayed there three times.
The hostel is in the middle of a beautiful and quiet neighborhood outside of the center.
You can take a grab or walk 15 minutes to the center.
It's a quiet hostel, not a party one and this is what I'm looking for, always beautiful people arrived there.
I stayed in the top floor dorms, the bed is great, the shits are ok, you have privacy with the curtains.
There's a big terrace with the most stunning view for the morning.
The staff are the nicest! Big heart in each one!
The cleaning of the toilet & bathroom
It's not the best
But I hope it will get better :)
Other than that, this is the place a backpacker who is looking for a peaceful hostel should go to!

Beautiful hostel with wonderful staff! Very social for a small hostel and had lots of communal space! I would come back here in a heartbeat!

beautiful location, overlooking rice fields with a beautiful pool. Away from the noise of the city, with very friendly staff who are very helpful in organising trips. definitely a recommendation. it’s a bit out of the centre, but it takes around 7-10 minutes on a scooter/taxi to get back. includes a simple but tasty breakfast. also has options to get snacks/lunch/dinner/pancakes for cheap.
bit out of the centre

really well looked after....the outside area is amazing, went for a swim in the pool every day during my stay there .
it's a really calm area,it doesn't even feel you're only 2kms from the Ubud central area.
Staff there are amazing, always smiling and keen to help.(as most of the Indonesian people that i know)
highly recommended!!!!!
I'd prefer it to be closer to center, but i had a scooter so its wasn't a big issue

Very lovely and helpful staff, going beyond expectations. They help you get in to the centre and pick you up if needed. Great breakfast omelette!
A little bit of bathroom, little too dark, sink not working.

The owner and the crew are sooo welcoming and helpful! Really focused on giving you the best possible experience during your stay in Ubud.
Also very social area around the pool and bookable group activities.

I stayed in one of the traditional wooden huts and it was lovely!! Besides having private accomodations Paddy's is also a hostel, but a rather small one and everyone was very respectful of others, no intense partying or such. Personally I was in a bit of a tranquil mode during my stay and I very much could enjoy my time there. The staff is really friendly and helpful with any questions and activities. A big plus was the half-outside bathroom with pebble stones and big plants that gave a jungle spa vibe, I loved that a lot.
Paddy's is a bit outside of Ubud and too far for walking downtown (especially in the crazy traffic & sidewalks not really being a thing in Bali), but they provide free shuttle service to and from the city which works just fine. A downside is that there is only one drop-off spot which means quite a bit of walking the same roads over again. More adventurous people than myself would probably rent a scooter, but I've heard too many stories about western travellers misjudging asian traffic and getting hurt badly, so personally that's not an option for me. On the other hand you're away from the crazy masses of people and traffic in Ubud, sitting on the porch listening to the sounds of frogs and crickets in the next door rice field after a busy day in the city was wonderful.
You should be aware that there's no staff on site after 10 p.m. so you can't get any food & drinks after that, but that's a minor problem and something to be expected if you're not staying in a hotel.
There could be some extra light in the bathroom, was a bit dim and inconveniently placed. Everything else was beautiful.

The place is beautiful, surrounded by fields, with a nice swimming pool. They organize tours. It is a bit far from the city center of Ubud. It wasn't a problem for me though since I had a scooter.
I would like to have a communal kitchen. Also it got a bit loud late at night and there was no one from reception to make people lower the music.

The location is fantastic. it is tucked away on a quiet street overlooking peaceful rice paddies. But a short 5 minute walk down the local road and you are on a Main Street with many food options. The owners are kind, hardworking and honest. Breakfast is included and delicious. The pool is very nice on a hot day and the overall vibe of this place is amazing.
The bunk beds are a bit wobbly so you feel everything whenever the person above or below you moves.

Cheap and staff were nice.
Mosquito nets had gaps in them. Filthy bath mat in bathroom. Storage lockers not all big enough for regular sized backpack. Breakfast wasn’t great. Bikes available for hire are old, the one we got was faulty and there aren’t many available for rent.

Good place, Amazing staff.
Stayed their twice, during my visit in Bali.
The staff is great, you can rent a motorbike their, the owner is very honest and will organise everything for you from your airport pickup to your visit locally. I did some waterfalls, temples and the mount Batur hike at a fair price. You also have free shuttle to the centre.
Revant but should not be a determinant factor.
Some (not all) bathroom are too packed in my opinion, the shower is literally just next to (and almost over) the toilet seat which was quite akward for me.

The location, the pool, the view
Not really helpful personnel, bad smells, not very clean. A bit far from the center

When we arrived at the hostel we were given a phone to talk to the manager. They had screwed up their bookings and there was no private room for us anymore. The replacement offer at a different location was good. Nevertheless, it was very inconvenient.

The staff is very friendly and the hostel is amazing (thank you soooo much Mary). It is located out of the center and in the middle of rice fields. They have a free shuttle service that brings you to and picks you up from the city center whenever you like. Breakfast is nice as well. Simple but good. The rooms are very spacious as well and they have a separate room to store the luggage. Definitely recommend staying here!
Nothing.

The views from the pool are amazing. I like that it’s on a quiet street but close to the main road. The staff were more than welcoming. Took me to my bus stop for free. The breakfast was great! The room and bathroom were super clean. Overall I would definitely stay there again.

Loved my stay at Green Paddy‘s! The staff, Didi and Wayran and the other guys are so sweet and friendly, they really take care of their guests and help with any request. Breakfast was great too, loved the pancake :) found the location to be really great as the hostel is not in the busy center. This is the perfect place to relax!
