The location gave us a very easy walk into town (5 - 10 minutes) with the bonus of plenty of on-site parking. Our room, across the courtyard was adequate with a spacious en-suite; both very clean.

Our room would have been more pleasant with a window giving an outlook, rather than just a ‘velux’ looking skyward.

The staff was so welcoming and nice! Many thanks to the 2 members of staff we met during our stay, as they really know how to make their guests feel welcome. The breakfast was lovely (freshly squeezed orange juice, fresh bread and croissants) and the hotel is perfectly located to access the centre and the Hospices.

The room is a bit dated but our main issue was the carpet in the bathroom. I've never seen that in any French hotel and it's really not hygienic. Other than that the room was clean but needs modernising.

Very professional staff: when a problem developed with a plumbing fixture, we were given another, available, larger room very quickly.

Where do we begin to give our rave reviews about our stay at your hotel, which I believe was for 6 days. The real test of how well we were treated was from the second day on, after my husband had a biking accident, was taken by ambulance to the hospital and had a cracked rib. From that point on he had to stay in our room and sleep in a chair. What made it bearable for him was the concern and help from the staff and our pleasant room with great windows that could be thrown open to the nature. I would have the wonderful breakfast in the bright, sunny breakfast room and the ladies that served and kept the breakfast selection full at all times would prepare a tray for my husband and carry it up to the room for me. So sorry that I can not recall their names so I could sing their praise. Ben at the front desk was so helpful, kind and a joy to be around. As I mentioned in other parts of the review, extra linens, etc. were brought up to our room for my husbands comfort with sleeping in a chair. Next to the last day of our stay we went to the breakfast room in the afternoon where coffee and a sweet were prepared for us and a helpful conversation and suggestion about taking a taxi to Dijon instead of taking the train, which was so helpful, since I was handling most of the luggage. There is no doubt that when we go back to Beaune to do everything we were not able to do before, we will stay at your wonderful home away from home.
