We stayed a night in hotel. Everything was perfect, supernice staff, the dishes are amazing,the restaurant is very popular among local people. Highly recommended place.

Nice small hotel in a good location. Single room was spacious enough and had a larger bed, not just standard single size. Bathroom clean and modern. Breakfast buffet was sufficient with a good selection.

The room was very very clean and the bed was very clean and comfortable (I like the idea that there was no TV - who needs nowdays a TV where IPADS and smartphones are available). Also the bathroom was extremly clean and smelled so good. The most important thing for me that this hotel is a real NON Smoker one. I have booked in the past 3 and 4 stars hotels world wide and suffered becuase of smokers. Here in this hotel the wals don't have a smell of cigarettes. I booked the hotel with a breakfast, but because of being in hurry I couldn't enjoy it.... Parking is available in front of the hotel for no extra cost, splendid. I thank also the owner for being so friendly and helpfull!

Fo those of you who have problems taking stairs: there is no elevator - the hotel has 2 stores above the ground, so it is very hard for me to see the owner invisting in an elevator here. Maybe in the future making the stairs mor easy....

Comparing the prices and hotel potentiality this is best choice. also location is perfect at the boarder of Switzerland and France. My accommodation was perfect because of their service and friendly staff.

Maybe I could say there isn’t elevator, but not a big issue.

Restaurant was very nice but the menu limited. The meal I chose was not very good. A shame as the restaurant was previously excellent. Maybe COVID is to blame. Maybe but the prices are the same.

No breakfast on Sunday for early leavers. They promised us to put out some sandwiches in the morning, but didn't 😢

The location is unique. As well is the hotel itself. The internal restaurant (also accessible for externals) is high standard and you get a true local feeling of the environment/surroundings. Very nice!

No climate control in rooms. A lot of noice from the restaurant’s terrace made it difficult to sleep.

Hotel owners are exceptionally friendly and helpful making you feel very welcome. Rooms are neat and clean. I was impressed with the bathroom - looks like it's been freshly remodeled to a very high standard, loved it. It's a very small but charming town, great for short stay if you need to stay close to Basel Airport; I didn't explore it much tho as I was on a business trip. I fully recommend this hotel and I will definitely book another visit whenever I will come to Basel.
