Localização excelente

Um pouco barulhenta.

Ficamos apenas um dia pela localização, que é perto do terminal marítimo, já que iríamos para Morro de São Paulo.. eu e minha amiga adoramos o hotel! Super bem localizado, quarto limpo e confortável, café da manhã excelente e ainda com vista pro mar! Por falar em vista, lá tem uma que nem precisa subir no elevador Lacerda! Atendimento excelente dos funcionários! Com certeza, voltaremos! Super recomendo!!

in the more or less 'safe' old center, breakfast was OK, I think good value for money.

- no locker/safe in the room, they have central safes - the door/lock to the room was quite old and clumsy, could use an upgrade - rooms are not very soundproof, you could hear all kinds of sounds from the hallway. not really too bad though

Not much .

Really Old building, Rooms are Old, smelly, very old furniture and linen. They need a renovation. Main entrance on street with one floor of stairs to carry your bags . It never was mention on the hotel description. Hot water doesn’t work on most the rooms, they are electric but don’t work well. Do not take a room on the side, they are noisy and dark. Everything about the rooms are dark and depressing. Overprice. Never ever will stay there .. I usually don’t give bad reviews but this hotel need to spend some money to update. I feel I was taking advantage off. I can’t even give it one star.

The location was great close to shops, bars and the Pelourinho. the view from the room was amazing.

the shower drain was blocked. I think this is something that was a bit annoying.

Perfect location and a fantastic breakfast, nice staff and clean room in a historical building.

Everything was great. During my stay, there were problems with the internet, but it wasn't the hotel's fault.

The location of this hotel and the people working there are the best part. There wasn’t much else to like about it to be honest.

The rooms were very close to each other which meant you could hear everything in everyone’s rooms. The hallway smelt like it was a bathroom permanently. the air conditioning didn’t work. for the price the insides of the rooms were very run down.

This place is located in the heart of Pelourinho and I arrived on the last day of Carnival and it felt like I've landed in the biggest Bloc party in Brazil just steps away from my room The whole building feels old but maintained and very noticeable when locking the door as the key turns the other way

The sea view room is small and anyone standing on the public terrace can look into the room if the curtains are open So I had to avoid opening the curtains and not really use the sea view Fortunately I was not in the room a lot

Location is good.

Breakfast was ok Pousada is on the first floor so from the street there is just a door (maybe locked so press the bell and wait for door to buzz) with a sigh saying Chile. Nothing much to look at from outside but soon as you walk upstairs you will be surprised. Someone came at once and carried my bag for me. Reception at the top and was met by smiling George. Excellent welcome and he gave me all the info I required without asking. My bag was then carried upstairs to my room. There is no lift. Rooms are large and have everything you need. The pousada is on the edge of the Historic area (by the square within 5 minutes). With the area being on a hill you get excellent view of the ocean from the breakfast room. I recommend this Pousada. Optimal located next to the elevador and walking to all important sights. Breakfast room and terrace with amazing Bay views

Room quite small

Location was excellent - in the centre of the city, close to many points of interest. The view from the dinning room was exquisite. Breakfast was good.

Nobody of the staff could speak English, so any conversation was impossible. The room had two levels - level 1 : with toilet and bathroom and Level 2 : with beds; the stairs from the level 1 to the level 2 are very narrow and steep, so movement and especially carrying things up and down is not easy. Going to the bathroom at night is also problematic.

The staff were warm and welcoming 🙏🏾 The room was wonderful with it having two floors in the room so you can chill out in the living area before going upstairs to bed. The room also Had a balcony area. Beautiful views throughout the hotel especially in the space for breakfast, breakfast was top quality and the kitchen staff were also very lovely. It was a lovely stay and we will be back

It was all good i have nothing bad to say abbot the hotel.

Location was perfect and made it easy to visit everywhere on foot. The view to the bay is spectacular.

Breakfast was good but there were limited options. The hotel is in an amazing historic building and a slightly better offering would have made a big difference to the experience.
