The location was ok for what we wanted and the staff were very nice . It was a budget hotel so we were not expecting the best . The free parking and breakfast was included in our stay which was a real bonus.

The rooms we had were old fashioned and rough round the edges, definitely needs updating. Can’t say my room was cleaned to the highest standard it smelt of weed and the smoke detector had a bag placed over it!! Did inform reception and was offered to move rooms but the hotel was fully booked. Would have been too much hassle for the person on reception so was ok with staying put . Just had to mention the situation as we didn’t want the smoking fine !

We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of this hotel. The staff were ALL very friendly, welcoming, polite and helpful during our stay. The room was very clean with both the water and heating being very hot but fully adjustable. The room had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Breakfast, (included In the price), was very good and varied with cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurts, croissants, hot breakfast items and toast, all help yourself to as much/little as you want. Shaquille/Shakil (sorry about the spelling) was very polite and attentive at breakfast, noticing when tables needed cleaning and if people needed help. Equally, the maître D' was also friendly and ensured the busy breakfast period ran smoothly and efficiently. Every member of staff from the people cleaning the hotel to kitchen, dining and desk staff said good morning as we passed. All in all, we would definitely stay here again when visiting Manchester, as it is also on a great bus route for Manchester City football ground, Co-Op arena and a different bus into the City centre enabling you to leave your car in the free car park at the hotel.

We can't think of anything negative about the hotel during our stay.

I stayed in order to watch a basketball tournament and this happened to be a few minutes walk away. Car parking - perfect Breakfast was really good Staff were very friendly

I didnt have any hot water on the Sunday morning, at first a tiny trickle and then nothing. I did inform the staff on reception, but unfortunately by the time fixed it was too late for me to have a shower or bath. So not ideal. I hope this was an isolated case as family staying in another room had no issue.

The hot water in our room kept going cold someone was suppose to call regarding complaint no one called our room was not cleaned and we stayed for two nights

The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Bed was small but comfortable and the breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice including selection of milk for various diets and a vegetarian and gluten free option

Bathrooms could do with being modernised

Absolutely cracking hotel, some of the big chains should take note of this place. I say in hotels up and down the country week in and week out and honestly this hotel has everything you need if your stopping in the area. Reception guy was a young lad and he told me the history of the hotel and about the owner and well done that man for creating a fantastic hotel, if I’m ever in Manchester again this is the place I’ll be staying 👌

They don’t have any other hotels anywhere else in the country 😔
