The staff were amazing. Close to the beach. Quick walk to centro. Outdoor kitchen, large shower. Huge terrace.

We were in room #1. We felt safe, but its the only door that is plane wood , no deadbolt or bars,. The rest of the hotel is well gated..

For a 3 star it was in very good condition, very clean, amazing location and the staff were wonderful. I will look forward to returning in May!

I thought I was getting ocean view got city view

My bus got in at 6am and although I killed over three hours, they kindly got my room ready early when they saw I was waiting! Everyone is nice and patient if your Spanish isn't amazing. The City view bungalow I had was stunning (I believe I stayed in Numéro 3?). The hot water was great, the ac was effective, the Internet was reliable. I also really appreciate that water was supplied in bulk (a gallon) in one's room and ice trays were filled and ready in the freezer! La Playa Madera is lovely and not crowded at all, and you can walk to the centre no problem. Awesome location overall.

I really wish the pool hours were longer (at least for adults). I also was nudged to leave my room early for check out (cleaning staff came early) which I didn't love but they didn't press when I said not yet.

The staff was very kind, helpful, and responsive. The location was stunning with excellent ocean views.

We really like accommodations that are good for families and this place is very welcoming for children and adults alike. Very spacious room and balcony with excellent facilities for meal preparation. The Infinity Pool was an added plus. Staff was excellent! Private gate for the beach access another plus. La Madera Beach is shallow for quite a long way and lots of room for playing in the waves. also, a nice Boardwalk for a stroll to town.

we got the bungalow with a sea view so it was amazing, it was really nice to chill in the hammock outside every morning. the staff was really nice and cleaned our room everyday (made the bad, changed towels...) the location is really good- its better if you walk down to the beach and from there to the town instead of going up all the time. the bed and the shower were big which was good- lots of space thank god there was an air condition in the room otherwise we would have died lol

there were a lot of kids running around morning and night- kind of noisy had to pay more when we got there for some reason-not the price that was said on booking

they didn't charge me for the second night (without even knowing why i was leaving)

Terribly disappointed !! I do not go into details because there are too many! no comfort, no professional presence, no communication, no interest for the client and room not really clean. I had booked for 2 nights but the most incredible thing is that when I went to see the receptionist to cancel the second night, she did not even try to find out why! total disinterest!There is really much better elsewhere.

The location and the pool. Great view from rooms facing the ocean Employees are very nice and try to do their best with limited means. Still good value overall. I guess the price would be higher if the place was maintained better.

No one at the reception overnight. After 9 pm, no one is around in case of a problem. Wifi does not work well at all. I was told it was a city-wide problem but it is not true: wifi worked when I went up to the level above my unit. The problem comes from the way wifi is set up at the property. Some rooms have old AC units and they break down. Property is not well maintained: balcony door did not close (they fixed it) Many things are loose: faucets, electricity outlets...

Room was advertised with hot tub on patio. It was broken and we booked room specifically for hot tub. Manager did lower room rate to compensate.
