Decent enough location

The room itself had a mixed up smell of body odour, sweat, flatulance, feet and made me feel pretty I'll One person in my room was snoring loud and completely disturbed my sleep The communal shower that had several showers there room was mixed for male and female which is absolutely bizarre and I didn't use it because of the complete awkwardness of that shower room set up, The room itself is outdated, cracked floor tiles and had a sense of not very clean.. That's my perspective of my stay there The staff was nice though, 🙂

Its a good hostel! For the good price that you can get the rooms for you cant really complain about anything. The hostel is very central, has multiple bathrooms in the building and has a nice kitchen/dining area. The staff were very friendly and welcoming :)

In the beginning the entrance of the hostel was not that easy to find but after all they let me in and they showed me around the hostel really nice.

Very clean hostel , the toilets and the kitchen were super clean, comfy bed, the location is great. the stuff was friendly and helpful.

I made a mistake by smoking in the common room. I have apologized for my bad behavior to the staff. I want to state that this was my error and should not reflect on the Cathedral Hostel, who dy not condone this. I don't want bad reviews because of my action.

very central, adequate price, clean, kitchen area, enough bathrooms/toilets. On request, I got a new set of bedclothes.

2/3 staff members I talked to were unable (or unwilling) to speak English. Everybody's darling Mario preferred to speak Italian to _everyone_, even if they dont know any Italian. He was been rather rude and unfriendly most of the time. The beds have no curtains and no private lights, there is too much light coming in from outside the rooms, at least 2 rooms lead to the main street which is rather loud until ~23:00. There are no places to hang wet clothes. Maybe not so much fault of the hostel, but both my rooms were too loud/bright. I had a hard time sleeping here in general. Without prior message, no checkin possible between 13 and 17 o'clock! My first set of bedclothes smelled; either because they weren't properly washed (which I assume to 80%) or because they were not dried properly (20% chance). One of the showers only had cold water when I tried it. Two of the toilets are not really closed; I have no idea who came up with this setup (in the main bathroom).

Washing and drying was a Bit expensive (10€ in totale But Thats the only (Little) thing to Complain (and understandable in These days)

A beautiful hostel with very friendly staff. You rather feel like coming to a family's home than coming to a hostel when you enter. Very cozy, clean and located in the center.

Beds are a little bit "worn out" like when you climb upstairs or turn around they make noises and shake. No plugs next to bed.

The location is really great, from the balcony you can see the cathedral and you can access everything by walking. Supermarket is round the corner and generally the hostel is really nice and clean! Bathroom is very clean such as the kitchen. The ladies that work there were also really friendly and helpful.

My only problem in this hostel was the Italian guy who stays at the hostel and also helps out there. He may be a nice guy but I felt extremely uncomfortable around him as he asked me if I like Italian guys and my Passport picture is pretty.. stuff like this and then giving be a bed in the same room as him. I changed the room as i didn’t feel right about that. He also don’t know English, he only speaks Italian. Then he comes into the room constantly and changing things which were in my eyes unnecessarily. It’s not only my view. I talked with a lot of people with a similar opinion.

The location is perfect

The bed wasn t that confy. It was more than ok for a night.
