Chalet individuel très agréable et bien équipé. Nous avons passé 2 agréables nuits. Un grand merci aux équipes de l'hôtel qui étaient aux petits soins, notamment les serveurs et l'hôtesse d'accueil. - Sehr angenehmes und gut ausgestattetes Einzelchalet. Wir haben 2 angenehme Nächte verbracht. Ein großes Dankeschön geht an das Hotelteam, das sich mit großer Sorgfalt um uns gekümmert hat, insbesondere an die Kellner und die Empfangsdame.

Mention pour l'homme âgé qui tourne à la réception (le directeur de l'hôtel ?) exécrable quand on s'adresse à lui, qui répond par des grognements, et qui tente de nous facturer 1 semaine d'accès à la piscine dans notre dos alors que nous lui avons explicitement indiqué que nous souhaitions une entrée jour-unique (15 CHF vs 70 CHF / personne) en nous disant "oui oui" de manière dédaigneux. L'erreur est humaine mais quand elle est intentionnelle, c'est déplaisant. - Die Erwähnung des älteren Mannes, der an der Rezeption arbeitet (der Hotelmanager?), ist abscheulich, wenn wir ihn ansprechen, der mit Grunzen antwortet und versucht, uns eine Woche Zugang zum Schwimmbad in unserem Rücken in Rechnung zu stellen, obwohl wir es ihm ausdrücklich gesagt haben dass wir einen Tageseintritt wollten (15 CHF vs. 70 CHF / Person) und dabei verächtlich „Ja, Ja“ sagten. Fehler zu machen ist menschlich, aber wenn sie absichtlich begangen werden, ist es unangenehm.

perfect location in the alps. Easy access to parking. Apartment is ver specious and has all utilities. Very near to train station.

Nothing to Mention

The location of the hotel is perfect, very close to the train station and walking distance to the blue lake and various trails out of season.

This property is advertised as a wellness centre on booking.com but the pool is €15 per entry or €70 for the week, the sauna is €30 per session. So we didn't make use of the facilities. The restaurant although excellent, is very expensive. The morning we left the waitress on duty that day was rude.

Great location. Parking nearby. Excellent staff. The rooms are very comfortable. The kitchen is small, but very functional. Check in and check out very easy! There's a 2 car EV charger very close to hotel, but it's usually busy.

Great location with wonderful view and fresh air.

Country music festival kept us awake till 1 AM in one night.

I liked the location to the train station, the town, and to the trails that Kandersteg have to offer

there’s nothing I didn’t like. perhaps the dirty little pool in view beneath my balcony. def could easily be maintenances and then maintained to be nice. also all the junk outside the shed also outside the balcony at this pool.

location was excellent, lovely chalet’s and food. Catering for my vegan requirements at breakfast.

hidden costs of €19 tax & €90 cleaning costs in addition to the cost of the stay. thought it should come as part of the rate?
