Old traditional building at the vineyard. Nice atmosphere, rooms decorated with antique furniture. Wine tasting was included at the restaurant. And both host ladies deserve a 10, always smiling and are there to make you feel comfortable.

From the moment we were greeted by a smiley Martha until we were waved off by cheerful Heidi we loved every moment we spent at Rickety Bridge Manor. We stayed in Pinotage room and it couldn't have been better. Spacious, spotlessly clean and very comfortable, it had everything we wanted and more. From the luxury bedlinen and large fluffy towels, the slipper bath and enormous shower, the comfy seating and coffee maker, to the fresh milk for tea and the excellent house wine in the mini bar, nothing was missing to make this a perfect stay. The views from every window are outstanding, and being able to use the small pool an added bonus. Breakfast was a delicious feast in every respect with fruit, cereal and yogurt, a cold continental buffet, as well as a cooked to order hot menu. It certainly left us not needing lunch. Lastly, and not least of all, the complimentary wine tasting in the adjacent tasting room was great fun and not to be missed. If we are every fortunate enough to be in this beautiful part of the world again, we would definitely choose Rickety Bridge.

An amazing stay in a beautiful manor house. The location is great, and the furnishings in the bedroom, bathroom and lounge areas were very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Great Location, convenient between all the attractions

Everything about our stay was perfect, from Check in to Check out! All staff members were friendly and very helpful. We felt like royalty all weekend long. The breakfast was great, with a big variety. We were sad to leave but will definitely be back!

Gorgeous room at the heart of a beautiful wine estate. Incredible surroundings, delicious food, and helpful staff. The Franschoek wine tram stops at Rickety Bridge Estate so you can finish the tour with a stay here. I cannot recommended them highly enough.

Breakfast cooked by Martha was delicious. Throughout the staff looked after us, lighting fires in the lounge, always being helpful & made us feel at home. The place is beautiful & we also loved the wine tasting & look forward to drinking the Cabernet & the Shiraz when they are ready to drink.

The shower was difficult to regulate but everything else was pretty much perfect

Marta was a super loving host, really nice atmosphere, complementary wine tasting was awesome, perfect location when doing the wine tram experience in Franschhoek- we will definitely be back

Breakfast for vegetarian was not good

Set in such beautiful surrounds, we loved our spacious room and the spacious bathroom. Really comfortable & cosy bed. A wonderful place to relax in, not just to sleep in. Martha & the team could not do enough to welcome us, they made us feel like we were family being welcomed home. Truly nothing was too much trouble, they were so accommodating. We loved everyday we stayed, so much so we extended our stay twice.

Perhaps change the hand & shower gels as they didn’t smell that nice.
