Abdul the owner was exquisite, his hospitality and kindness made the difference, the location was good and the room cozy. The shower also was very good.

Just the sink was clogged because the previous guest must have poured food into it (to whoever did this, please, next time use the toilet instead of the sink!). Still, Abdul promised he would have fixed and I am sure he will :)

the bed was comfy

when we arrived, we couldn’t get in the door and spoke to the owner on the intercom. he didn’t let us in for about 10 minutes and it was only when someone else opened the door we got in. when on the intercom, he kept saying “are you there?” and “hello?” as he couldn’t hear us (it’s on a main road, it was NYE, let us in the hotel). it was raining and we had a few bags with us and just wanted to go into our room to get ready. once someone else let us in, he seemed confused. he didn’t give us a key and he then rang the owner. they started speaking to each other in another language which was quite unprofessional to me as they were on the phone for about 15 minutes until we got given the keys. he was also barefoot, which seemed very weird and i don’t really like feet. when we finally got into the room, we had the room at the very front so all the traffic could see in. the curtains weren’t very effective and were full of gaps, as a woman this made me very uncomfortable. the room was dirty (so much dust, rubbish behind beds, hair that i could only assume to be pubes in the sink?!). and then, on top of all that, they asked us for £10 in cash because we had a slightly bigger room than we booked. the room was already very expensive for what it was and then an additional £10? the man who requested this money just walked into the hotel room as well to ask for that, no knocking or anything. it seemed very unprofessional and strange. i would not stay there again. also, i asked for a dairy free breakfast - so i got whole cows milk, a chocolate pan au chocolate, and a banana. not very dietary needs friendly considering i am severely allergic to dairy products.

I have been in touch with bookings.com we could not gain access to the hotel (thank god it looked like a tip but there was no one to let me in) awaiting response regarding refund.please do not send anyone else to this fleapit

We are owed a refund, this place needs to be closed down. Nobody to let us in, another guest had to. No allocated rooms. The rooms hadn't been cleaned at all. I'm talking toilets not flushed, no toilet paper, bins full, mouldy cups and bowls. Fridge had gone off leftovers in, burst pipe so the carpet and hallway were flooded. Beds hadn't been cleaned but someone had made them and left folded towels on the floor for us....which is somehow worse as that meant someone went into the room and thought they did an acceptable job! The owner has never acknowledged me or answered their phone. We did not stay for our full time, once we were able to find another hotel we did. Disgusting! Booking.com needs to remove this b and b.

The hotel stuff were very friendly. They helped us with heavy suitcases.

The hotel is not clean enough. Very small bathroom with no ventilation. Beds were not comfortable. Bad neighborhood (we heard gun shots in the middle of the night). There was no breakfast even though we paid for it and we emphasized that we will check out at 08:00. There was no one at the reception to complain about that. I'm NOT recommending this hotel at all. Stay away.

Our room was extremely small and quite run down. Some kind of refurbishment is needed. Not a fan of 'breakfast' in the room, hardly touched it. In my opinion it would be better to have no breakfast at all.

Breakfast was disappointing. Admittedly I hadn't read the description properly but was disappointed to find a box of cereal and a carton of orange juice and a banana - hardly the "continental " breakfast that was expecting. Couldn't get the shower to work - not obvious how to get it to run hot! The decor was very tired looking and shabby.

Really close to where I need to be. Good value for money. Free parking.
