Location was spot on short walk to historic downtown, close to everything. Great value for money. Will definitely return

Bait and Switch, when we arrived we were told our booked loft apt. was not ready, but we could stay at the Hotel Oslo for $65 Euros more. I said that was excessive and argued with the manager because the price online was only $23 Euros more at the Oslo hotel online.. When I confronted the manager he said we would pay the same rate as for the original loft apt with no additional charge from the original price that we booked but later he changed his mind and asked for $40 Euros more....a classic BAIT AND SWITCH!!!! BEWARE.....A DISREPUTABLE HOTEL like the OSLO does a disservice to Bookking.com' otherwise fine reputation reputation!!!!

Centrally located, clean apartment. Parking was easy in the garage next to the apartment (10€ per night), check-in at the hotel on the opposite side of the street. The staff was very friendly, gave us a good idea of the city and its top spots, and helped us with the luggage.

The walls seemed quite thin for we could hear our neighbors next door. Also, we heard a lot of people outside during the night. But, as we learned, this was due to the week of students celebrating their final exams.

Location was in the city centre. Location was sunny (large French windows), quiet and on a pedestrian side street. Access was with digital key pad. The hotel has a roof top terrace ( available to occupants of the Loft Apartments) with terrific views and on 2 of the 3 nights we stayed, we had drinks as the sun set. Reception staff were very helpful with suggestions on where to go, what to see and where to eat. The outstanding staff service was regarding locating the accommodation (we were in the Loft Apartments) and car parking (underground and€10 per day). They were next to each other and whilst less than 50m from the hotel, would have been a challenge to find the first time. The staff member guided us to the car park and then to the apartment and even helped us carry our bags as he was guiding us. Wi-Fi was excellent.

The bathroom had negligible shelves.

The listing advertises parking (they even include a parking photograph in the listing) but they then charge you 10 EUR a night and you need to pay in cash the parking amount (which is a bit sketchy).
