Clean and relatively recently renovated. The floor and bathroom are tiled with what seems to be a local style product, which has its charm. The owner speaks some English and explained everything about the property on our arrival and was responsive to our questions. The location is central to Vietri, close to shops, restaurants, cafes and public transport. It is a bit of a walk to the beach (and uphill on the way back), so not ideal if that’s what you’re coming to Vietri for (for an Australian Vietri beach is unimpressive anyway, I wouldn’t call it sand…). The breakfast included is a voucher to a nearby cafeteria for a coffee and croissant - you will get disappointed if you’re after your usual eggs and bacon (in all of Italy, so it’s not an issue with the property).

The room was facing the street which was quite noisy until late into the night, especially the weekend, where cars were queuing up the hill. The property does not allow for food and drinks in the room (there is no table or a chair to have some anyway), so plan accordingly.

The bed and pillows were very comfortable. We visited Amalfi, Sorrento and Capri. The location was great. The Palazzo Pinto location is conveniently located at the foot of a walkway to restaurants and shops with the best priced gifts of anywhere we visited in Italy. Rafael and Rosa were very hospitable and made us very comfortable. We would recommend to anyone and would return again.

The only thing we didn't have was a table in the room and a view of the water.

Room was small but very clean, Breakfast was very limited, You can't even ask for a coffee with no sugar as the machine is programmed one way and only the staff person can use it

The owner was incredibly rude on a number of levels, We made a change according to booking which was not recognized by the facility. booking asked that we pay the whole amount and we are sy=till waiting for the refund a month later. We were there fi=or a wedding along with other guests. The owner followed a women down the stairs in a curse laden triad because she allowed her friends son to leave his luggage in her room. The young man was staying in the same place but checking in at a later time. We called booking with our own issue regarding the change and he followed up with each call to booking to deny our refund.

The rooms are lovely!
