in two separate buildings. group was split up. had a plumbing eruption in one room. had to move very late evening. not answering any telephone to get help. found one helpful staff. eventually. moved to another room.

Super location. Walking distance from city centre and all the sites and university collages. Very friendly staff at Ethos and good breakfast facilities.

Poor ventilation in the room. Could only open one window slightly. No fan or window in the bathroom. The curtains have not been cleaned since the hotel was "built". Parking is a pain. The place is overpriced for what they offer and the pictures on the website are a little deceiving.

The staff at the hotel were fabulous. Hotel itself is located across more than one site, initially we wondered if we were in the right place when we arrived as it did not look like the photos. Room was a great size and very warm as we visited in winter. It was an easy walk into Oxford so a good location. Carparking available if you book it - but it costs extra. The breakfast was fab, and the team in the restaurant were great, as were the reception team.

The plug in the shower was stuck but managed to unplug it eventually. No views at all the room is functional and comfortable but not somewhere you would want to spend a lot of time in.

Lovely quite area, close to town centre, very clean room and comfortable bed. Staff were very kind and obliging, went out their way to accommodate my wife's dietary needs. we booked parking and got it.

We did not go looking for fault so did not find anything.

The location is perfect and breakfast great.

Breakfast choices from the upgrade menu were good and the choices from the (included) continental breakfast were extensive.

Communal areas could do with a refresh, very marked walls and stained carpets.

Had a continental breakfast included which was very basic, breakfast time was run by a single person struggling to cope. It had a feel of B&B rather than a hotel.

the location of the property was great 10 minute walk into Oxford. it was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. staff on reception when we arrived were brilliant and extremely helpful. breakfast was fantastic too a great selection, and staff again were extremely helpful.

beautifully clean and immaculately presented property. celebrating our 24th wedding anniversary and arrived to the room to find a lovely bottle of wine to help us celebrate. would definitely recommend and would return again. 10minute lovely walk into town, fabulous place

Absolutely disappointed in the breakfast. For 200 euro/night I expected fresh bread instead of pre-packed stuff. Something from the kitchen was to be paid extra.

we had a good size room. having the cafe was an unexpected bonus. Excellent staff especially Juliana who was a star and a great asset to the hotel. Great breakfast.
