Unfriendly reception. Noisy room due to street traffic. No way to open window in the room

Great location, friendly staff, great (and quiet!) a/c in the room, pool and bar area really nice to relax in

Only thing I suggest to improve was that a small fridge in the room would have been great, otherwise perfect

Hotel is well-located for both the castle and the city centre itself, and is away from traffic noises etc. Staff speak excellent English, and are exceedingly kind and courteous -- we were offered access to the heated pool without prompting and for our sole use -- and the rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable.

Lovely welcome and upgraded too. Bedroom, although not large, very well equipped and clean. The same with the bathroom. Cosy and warm which was very welcome as the weather had turned cold and windy. Bed was comfortable, TV easy to use. We took advantage of the secure parking and was able to leave the car there the following day when we visited the medieval cite about 5-10 minutes away. Had dinner in the evening in the cite. Good choice of restaurants for all budgets. Breakfast at the hotel was very good and served with a smile and we were able to get a tray of tea served in the morning in the room. Staff excellent, particularly the lady who served us on arrival even ran after me with an umbrella as pouring with rain and we wanted to explore. Very thoughtful. Can highly recommend and would stay there again.

Small boutique hotel 5 mins walk from the cite. Very friendly and helpful staff. Decent breakfast. Small swimming pool available. Would highly recommend.

we didn’t actually stay at the property as when we arrived it was being done up, no communication prior to our arrival despite receiving multiple emails from the property ahead of arrival. upon arriving at the new property the staff were all very lovely and accommodating, the beds were comfortable and the location convenient

we didn’t actually stay at the property as when we arrived it was being done up, no communication prior to our arrival despite receiving multiple emails from the property ahead of arrival. the ‘upgraded’ property was ghastly in decor with very dirty plastic carpet. the room was too hot and we had no access to any of the room air con to regulate the temperature. there was also no kettle in the room and only one mirror in the bathroom. the rooms were laid out for single use with only one single wardrobe and no drawer space.

The hotel moved us up to be closer to the castle which was a nice surprise

During our stay another customer came into and unlocked the door of our room, we were so shocked and uncomfortable as they were told by reception the room we booked was also theirs, this miss understanding was handled very poorly by the reception and we were uncomfortable that night we stayed. We also had someone scratch our car within the parking lot if this hotel and they reported it to reception, however reception didn’t tell us this until later in the evening after the guy had left the hotel!! Instead of finding us when the incident happened!!

Well located to walk everywhere. It is easy to park on the street. It is not necessary to pay for hotel parking. There are no noises.

The reception service is basic. They do not inform about what to do in their city, nor about restaurants. They show little interest. Small and complicated staircase to climb the suitcases. Outdated decor and furniture. There is no fridge to have cold water. Basic and low quality amenities.

The hotel was very welcoming and the staff very helpful. The decor of the hotel was lovely and it had a nice little pool. The breakfast was delicious. I enjoyed the boiled eggs!

The room was a little small.

The bathrooms are bot pleasant. The original room.we were given had paint stripped off the tiles in the shower which revealed damp and mold . Our next room was only a slight improvement . Staff were extremely helpful in moving us but I would not stay again

Lovely friendly, helpful staff. Great location to the medieval town. Perfect apartment for 4 people, 2 rooms with a double bed in each and the 3rd room with 2 single beds, it felt very spacious.

Some of the people in our group would have loved a kettle in the room. But the staff gave a pot of boiling water to take to the room and that was great.

The reception and cleaning staff were exceptional. Friendly, polite and helpful. The breakfast was excellent, and very worth the money. The pool and bar was exceptional.

The room was a little on the small side, and it was hard to get in and out of the shower. The tiles around the bath needed cleaning/painting and the could have been more storage place for small items of clothers (e.g. drawers)

location & good value for price

Location to the old city was perfect, the two girls at reception who were relieving each other over the weekend working shifts were very helpfull to everyones needs and are very much kept going especially at checkout and breakfeast.
