Its central position and the staff. I feel a young man, a versatile member of staff, acting as receptionist, parking problem solver and an extra pair of hands during the breakfast rush, truly deserves a special mention. He was reassuring in his advice both before and after our arrival in Reims. He moved his car to allow us to take his place in the hotel’s secure parking which, although very appreciated and rare, is also very limited for spaces. I hope the Ibis Style realises the value of its staff and truly appreciates the efforts of this young man and the whole team.

The colour scheme does not lend itself to relaxation. The room temperature is far too high for a good night’s sleep

Breakfast was very busy. Butter was difficult to find. Was in some small glass fridhe together with the small bottles of juice.

We had a room for persons with disability, and it was not convenient. But the second night we changed the room, so everything become good.

Room was nice, it had a big double bed and a bulk bed. However, our child did not prefer to sleep in the bulk bed (which was made from a sofa bed and did not feel super safe to her) and slept with us. The wallpaper on the wall was a bit teared, but still with a nice design of deck of cards. The choice at breakfast were simple but very nice. We especially enjoyed the figs bread and the cheese, plus a feta-dried tomatoes loaf bread. Private parking of the hotel was not available (full) but just next to the property there is a public car park (under a bridge, which seems a bit dodgy but it is actually fine) that costs only 4 euro per day. Staff were very friendly and suggested us a very nice champagne tasting experience in Epernay. Location is good, just walking distance from the cathedral.

The corridor did not look extremely clean, probably due to the carpet condition. Our view from the room was not the best, it was probably on the internal car park.

Breakfast at Ibis Styles is always super.

This time the location of the hotel was “unfortunate “ as it was next to a crossroad of crowded streets. The hotel itself is quite dated/ old . A renovation maybe is needed.
