Lovely breakfast and very friendly staff. They were most welcoming and graciously let us check in a little early.

I had paid for a mountain view room and there was no view due to a tree being right up against the window. There was a light bulb hanging out of its socket instead of being flush with the ceiling - a small thing but not consistent with a 5*. Finally the "king" size bed was two smaller beds pushed together, which is fine, but then put a mattress topper across it so if you are sleeping next to your partner, you don't get stuck in the crack between the 2 mattresses.

The accommodation is in a quiet, peaceful location just a few minutes from the center of the city. It is really 'top notch' with beautiful views and close to a number of wine farms. The breakfast and the service were excellent.

It’s a nice B&B but a bit overrated. Little choice with breakfast and the personal is very unflexibel and not really interested and welcoming, which was a new experience considering the warm friendliness in all the other places. No one asked us how our stay was or if we needed anything, also at breakfast you have to be pro active in asking for coffee or drinks, bread. There is room for improvement.

It was close to our wedding venue and as such really convenient.

As it was our honeymoon night I would have like to see a little extra attention to the room. Maybe a bottle of champagne (even if it was offered as an extra charge) or flowers and chocolates in the room, or even a turndown service. It was also loadshedding when we arrived in the dark (used our cell phone torch light) and couldn't make coffee or anything in that time. Overall a disappointment for our honeymoon night and an anti-climax to a really awesome wedding reception. The place has so much to offer, but disappointing that it was only a room instead of an experience.

we left our cell phone in our room and only discovered it when we returned to Cape Town The receptionist was extremely helpful and pulled out all stops to have it returned to us eventually getting hold of a courier company that only charged R640 and the phone was returned to us within 2 hours

the entire location is really nice with a lot of nice details to make it feel like home. The staff is very friendly and you have everything you need to explore Stellenbosch and the vine regions. the location is very safe and also really quiet. We received some recommendations for restaurants that were simply stunning. thank you very much

The check in was okay. The room was okay. The bathroom was lovely. The setting is superb

The hotel needs some upkeep. The carpet up the stairs was worn and dirty. There was no lift although the one lady helped us carry our luggage up the stairs. There was a long list of "dont's" on the bed on arrival and extra charges by the hour if you didnt check out by 10am. The breakfast was cold, no good coffee, only instant . Thought it was over priced for what you got and not up to our expectations

Room and bathroom were large and the breakfast was nice.

There was a charge to order milk for the tea and coffee in the room, the bath towel warmer did not work. There were stains on the carpet leading up to the rooms and the pillows were less than comfortable.
