I was for business trip in nearby city and this was only reasonably priced accommodation available in the area. My initial scepticism changed into excitement as soon as i reached the hotel. First of all, location is really great, half hour from Zürich, 10 minutes to the lake, surrounded by nature. I woke up in the morning and first what I saw was greenery around. To the room itself. Every time I stay in a hotel I take my rubber slippers,  just to be sure, as from my experience,  even the better hotels have issues with cleanliness. But here I was stunned. Room was cute, reminded me of holidays at my granny's when I was little and it was so clean that I tried running on the floor with white socks....and they stayed white. The accommodation is clean above expectations and also comfortable. The breakfast is also good, there was a classical breakfast buffet (highlight: fresh croissants and great coffee). Owners are nice people, making you feel like you are visiting friends. I hope I will "have to" travel to this area more often :) .

Good size room. Host very helpful and nice. Helped us in everything we needed for our baby daughter. Excellent dinner and breakfast.

Not suitable for guest with mobility problems, no lift available. The rest was perfect.

This is an old hotel with charm and character, but reasonably well up to date. Nice to stay there and very convenient for nearby golf at Schonenberg golf club

Breakfast is served at 7am and closed at 7:30. Most establishments close breakfast at 9am of 10am. Why is breakfast so early for leisure travelers Staff needs to to excuse themselves from the phone and pause the conversation when customers are waiting to check in or check out.

Very clean
