The bedrooms are a bit small, but otherwise this place is great. We had a nice view from our window, the living / dining / kitchen was spacious, the kitchen functional and well equipped. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and there's a supermarket and places to eat minuites from your door.
We had some trouble with the hot water in the shower, but it was late so we couldn't get help. The person in charge forgot to email us the key to the door, but the cafe staff had the problem solved in minutes with a smile and warm apology.

Location was really good, exactly in the center. The hosts were helpful and it was very well maintained. Easy check-in and check-out. The cae and the bar are located exactly below the apartments, so that was good too.
Though they had informed about bringing our own bedroom linens, I feel they could provide that in the future as the guests need to carry extra luggage especially for that. Also, the bathroom did not have a shower gel, towels and napkins, something they should atleast provide in the future. The bathroom did not have a lock or keys to lock which was not good.

Very clean, well equipped and very central to the village. The owner was extremely helpful on the phone when I called to get help to find the keys. Probably would not have been a problem finding the keys in daylight and if I had thoroughly read the instructions.

Location was perfect; right in the middle of town. There was a river right next to us and a great walking trail. This place is near restaurant and their is a pricy restaurant under the apartment but we opted for going to the grocery store and cooking in the apartment which had a stove/oven and some cookware.
Amazing scenery everywhere-wished we had one more day to do some hiking and more fly fishing. Plus the apartment had a small balcony which was nice.
Not enough plugs in kitchen; we had to lift microwave to move it and use it.
We were tired and didn’t like that we had to pay $17 a person for bedding and make the bunk beds which weren’t easy. They were not comfortable for my husband and I and his feet kept hitting the ladder.

Location and space
Check in time is unusual 17:00 pm on the contrary check out time is regular 12.00 pm. If you need early check in they charge it separately 300 NOK. Normally check in time is between 14:00 to 15:00 pm.

The location was perfect, many cafes and shops around. However, not all of them are opened in the summer time.
The check in is from 5pm, quite late.

The place is EXTREMELY overpriced for what you get. The place really needs a serious renovation. There was no real dining table. The windows were not tight. The bathroom was situated right into the kitchen which was disgusting . Lousy bar chairs on the balcony. The cleaning wasn't done very well done in the bathroom prior to our arrival. It was an ok place to sleep but defiantly not a place where you wanted to relax and spent some time. The hostess was very service minded and was texting me in the middle of the night when we complained about a party in the café that she had actually warned us about via email (which I hadn't seen so my own fault). The location is great.

There were no any information before regarding early check in charge! We pay a lot of for 3 days stay and additionally we paid 2 hours early check charge. But, the apartments was ready on 12:15 :( Unlikely fact!

The accommodation was spacious and comfortable, with all the facilities that we wanted. Everything worked well and we enjoyed our stay!

Big apartment and good value for money. Full kitchen and two separate bedrooms with comfy beds. Big entrance with posibility to store skis and gear. Apple TV. Close to the bus. Free parking. Cleaning included.
Fairly noisy and alot of parties in neighboring apartments, bring ear plugs.

Having an sort of apartment with a complete kitchen. Perfect location to start hiking and biking tours. The Restaurant is nice and offers good food.

Very central location though Hemsedal is not that big. Apartment was big and clean, very good water pressure in the shower.
We were not aware that there were special apartments for those coming with pets so when we booked, we knew pets were allowed but not that we had to say in advance to get a special apartment. Therefore when we arrived we had to pay an additional fee for it.

That the light switches did not always work. Its kinda stressful when you REALLY need to go to the toilet
