Servicepersonal sehr freundlich und gastfreundlich. Das Gewölbe sehr gemütlich und sollte als Alleinstellungsmerkmal noch mehr herausgestellt werden.

Frühstück war o.k.. Marmeladen, Honig und Butter leider abgepackt und der Aufschnitt "nur" standard. Aber ansonsten alles vorhanden. Eine Katastophe war das WLAN. Dauernd musste man sich mit seinem Passwort neu einloggen. Da gibt es deutlich bessere Möglichkeiten für Gäste. Bitte nachbessern.

Breakfast: decent, nothing extra ordinary, but quite good. Bread, eggs, meat, cereal, coffee, everything was there, but nothing super ordinary. Still - had simple yet tasty breakfast. Room: Clean, spacious, overall good. Staff: Friendly and helpful staff, the best part of this hotel - the staff. Superb!

Breakfast: no coffee options - just black coffee and milk, no lattes or cappuccinos etc. Room: bed was very uncomfortable, squeaky and loud even if you just turn to the other side. The mattress is very flimsy, the bedding was awful - with bumps on the bed sheet and the pillows were huge, impossible to sleep on them. Did not meet the price point of the hotel.

I had one of the best experiences in many years since the hotel staff shows genuine care and support, going extra-mile to ensure guests' comfort and happiness. My room was spacious and had a very comfortable bed. The stay was a great way to recharge and get rest in the nature!

Unfortunately some of the stereotypes about the Saxons being lazy, ignorant and a bit stupid were confirmed. The hotel was not so close to Bad Schandau for a single traveller without a car and it wasn't easy to get transport there particularly in the night where everything seems dead and closed after 8pm even on a Saturday in July. Restaurants closing early, no buses not even a taxi. What the hell do these people do...go to bed at 8.30 pm or read AFD literature?

Very friendly staff who were attentive to our needs. The room was comfortable with a great bed and facilities. The good was excellent the location superb.

The room was poorly noise insulated. People coming and going and conversing in front of the door were easily overheard.
