Perfect cabaña in the cute town of Frutillar. Has everything you wish for in an apartment!

We left after one night of an expected 2-week stay. In that time we discovered nothing to like.

The photography on booking.com is misleading, to say the least. Six cabins are crammed together in a small space. The view from the broken window in the second cramped bedroom is of some kind of trash heap. Dog excrement in the tiny lawn leading to the front door next to the tiny parking space. Broken lawn furniture was useless. No cleaning materials. Very little attention to COVID protocols in a country renowned for its diligence in establishing and enforcing a successful disease prevention system. Kitchen sink drain dysfunctional. The bedrooms are dark, dreary and haphazardly decorated. There was a TV but so small as to be of no use. All this in a beautiful little town full of wonderful places to stay and things to see and do. This establishment with its misleading name does a grave disservice to the beauty of the region. When we complained and requested a refund, the firm owning the cabins refused to refund any of the full payment which I should never, never, never have made in advance. The firm demanded this advance payment before we arrived and suggested the reservation would be cancelled without it. A terrible experience, from which we learned hard lessons about booking online.

The bed covers were excellent for the rainy and cold weather. The amiability of the staff was great. Everything was ready before we arrived. The fireplace was lit and everything in place and clean
