Great location and breakfast was lovely had a good menu with plenty of options to choose from would recommend staying here and thinking of coming back next year

Bathroom door didn’t lock and there was a gap along the top. Would have been nice to get tea/coffee refilled each day with clean mugs.

Fantastic 2 night stay at Sunnyside, room was lovely, very clean, bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was excellent! The guest lounge was lovely always with a hot pot of coffee/hot drinks available and a home baked cake…delicious!

clean, tidy and welcoming! has a very stressful few days personally and the room and facilities were fabulous! Kendal mint cake, slippers, bathrobe, fridge in room with water and fresh milk in, biscuits and decor was beautiful! loved the fact there was a communal sitting room with freshly brewed coffee and two enormous cakes to help yourself too! the breakfast was lovely and all set out beautifully with lots of condiments on the side! information packs in room was very helpful and more than I have seen in a place before! although my stay was cut short due to family reasons I would definitely book to stay here again! think the owners may of thought me slightly bonkers but not travelled on my own before and was terrified! worth the money x

I had a very pleasant stay at Sunnyside Guest House - I was only in town for a couple of nights and the breakfast was fantastic as were all my interactions with Nicky who manages the BnB with her husband Paul. I appreciated the free touches like cake in the guest lounge as well as tea/coffee and fresh milk. Overall, a very welcome, positive experience.

I was in a single room so the shower cubicle was small and the room was very warm at night however there isn't much the hosts can do about these particular circumstances and a fan had been provided in the room for me which was thoughtful and helped me stay a bit cooler.
