Great location, very close to everything Keswick has to offer. Great and efficient customer service.
Firstly it was up 6 flights of stairs outside - this was not on the detailed description! It was outside in the rain so the stairs were wet and slippery. Second of all, it was completely UNSAFE to sleep here as there was an awful amount of mould in the bedroom! It is a safety hazard to someone’s health to stay here. The bedroom wall, skirting boards and curtains were full of mould it was completely unacceptable. We both have asthma and have a newborn baby and were horrified.
When reporting this though, the company were also horrified and had great customer service - they apologised and moved us to a flat down the street which was much nicer.

Location second to none. Free parking was reserved in a nearby car park which was a great added bonus. Views are unreal from the apartment too 👌
Cleanliness was not good, floor was dirty especially under the sof and in corners. Damp on windows and around the walls, bathroom floor also dirty.
Coat rack and boot mat would be ideal in coming in to leave your dirty gear.
WiFi would be a great upgrade if the host did it but not essential as it was nice to have no phone signal at times.
Sort the cleaning out and you're onto a winner in this apartment.
Yes the price was cheap but basic cleaning is not costly at all, such a shame.

Location. Parking space and dog friendly. Nice bathroom. Warm. We were allowed to access the property early.
There were 63 steps to our apartment no 6. This was not made clear in the information. The mattress was very soft and worn. The quilt cover had a hole in it. There was no hot water, no sink plug or bowl making washing up very difficult. The kitchen was not well equipped- only 2 mugs, 2 large plates.
There was no information booklet at all. No info on local GP, vet etc or how the heaters worked or could be altered.

The location is fantastic, easy to locate and free parking. The view is also amazing! For the cost, this was the perfect base for us in the lakes and only walking distance to all the restaurants and shops.

Doors where difficult to close, kept sticking, and the bathroom door wasn't completely private, it's door panels had moved causing slight gaps, and there was no lock on the door.

The location was amazing, a very short walk to the shops and pubs. The apartment also has beautiful views of the fells from every window.
The apartment was tired. All the blinds were broken. It was clean in the main areas, but it needed a deep clean and freshen up decor wise throughout. It was also on a very high floor which I don't think was mentioned anywhere in the description.

Location of the apartment was brilliant. Very central above the George Fisher store. Suitable for a couple of days away, no need to take the car anywhere. Amazing views from the 2 main windows and very quiet from the neighbours / during the night. Bed was very low but comfortable, some little toiletries in the bathroom and a hairdryer & iron.
£146 per night for the condition of the property! Needs some TLC, a paint, damp marks covered and some upgrading of equipment. The TV was very old with not even all Freeview channels. Only tiny juice glasses in the cupboards, no wine glasses or anything to pour a soft drink or beer into. Needs some more pans and trays. Window didn't close properly in the living room so could hear the music from bars until 11pm, and quite a draught on the top floor!
Need to climb 6 flights of stairs to get up to the apartment, and the parking space is around the block (although can see it) so need 2 or 3 trips with your bags.

The positives: the location, the views, there was a car-parking space, it was clean with nice fluffy towels and met our basic needs.
The car-parking space is around the corner, there are 63 steps up to the entrance door and the images didn’t truly represent the size of the living/dining area (made it look bigger than it is) nor did it show the hoover and bin that are in there.
The kitchen is poorly equipped and although it served our basic needs i.e. to warm up pizza and porridge in the morning, in my opinion It’s not somewhere you would want to cook and eat each evening. There was no grill pan in the oven, no oven gloves, no wine glasses (despite the image) or any decent glasses and limited bowls and plates.
J-cloths, washing up liquid, bin bags and a hoover were the only cleaning items. There was no tea towel nor kitchen roll. There is a washing machine but we were not provided with a single tab or washing powder. There is no airer to dry washed clothes. There are no basics ie tea, sugar, oil to cook with salt & pepper etc. It really was bare not like a lot of holiday lets we’ve stayed in which normally provide the basics.
The bed is low, the mattress is very soft and sinks below the bed frame. There was a stain on the wall above the bed, as if someone had thrown a drink at the wall. The apartment is also starting to look a bit shabby.
We stayed for 3 x nights and ate there for one evening so we didn’t actually spend much time in the apartment. It’s not somewhere I would recommend for an extended stay.

Apartment wasn't very clean when we arrived. Floor hadn't been swept or mopped. Orange peel and sweet wrapper under the bed.
Bathroom was dirty. To be fair when we complained someone attended straight away and gave it a clean.
TV was temperamental and only worked some of the time.
Bathroom door handle missing inside and top hinge unscrewed.

Situated in the centre of Keswick, close to the lake and walkable to the ferry.
No hot water on arrival, but sorted by the owner within a couple of hours of being notified. Shower trap full of hair and detritus, therefore overflowed on use. I cleaned the trap of dirt and it did the trick, owner replaced shower mat and towel, living area not vacuumed. Not sure we were informed that there were 7 flights of stairs to climb to access the apartment, we would not have booked had we realised. I suppose Mountain View should have pre-warned us. Number 6 is the top left apartment in the photo below.

Fantastic location, great for the shops, bars, meals and walks to the lake. Good comms with the apartment manager, great parking facilities.
Although the apartment is located on the top floor which may not be suitable to some it has the benefit of some fantastic views.
