Great location, warm hospitality, amazing building and view.

Staff was really friendly and helpful. They conveniently let us to early check in, provided space for our luggage at the check out and we strolled all over Rethymno until our leave! The room was decent and clean, also the view from the terrace is magnificent!

Our stay at Archontiko was wonderful and key to our enjoyment of one of the best holidays we’ve had. Excellent location in the old town, very comfortable room and delicious breakfasts. Panoramic view of Rethymno from the rooftop terrace. Alyona is a warm, very helpful host. She advised us on local restaurants, places to see, and gave us detailed route options to take outside Rethymno in the couple of days we hired a car. Together, with her very friendly husband Costa and young helper Maria, they make an outstanding team. We will definitely be back.

Very nice and engaged hosts, ready to give you hints about nice locations. Authentic old house, delicious breakfast and we had whirlpool in our room.

This property is perfectly located in the heart is the old town. The hosts are very friendly and gave us helpful information about the parking and dinner suggestions. The hotel space is beautifully renovated and so much care and intention are put into the details! We stayed in the budget room and found it to be comfortable and had everything we needed.

The owners were very friendly and helpful but we did not see them after check in, but gave us their cell if we needed anything. We didn’t know about the breakfast on the rooftop option until the last morning and when we inquired about it to the front staff we were told that they were to busy to tell us:( Perhaps this is only an option at the time of booking? Our wifi connection was overall spotty, perhaps the other rooms had better service (ours was the more ‘budget’ option on the first floor). I bet it is very difficult to keep a wifi signal as the stone walls are so thick!

Archontiko Old Town Suites is perfectly located for those who want to explore this beautiful town. Absolutely peaceful property, yet 5 minutes walk from all what we needed. Clean to the smallest details. The view from the rooftop garden is the best in Rethymno!

Location is very central and there are many restaurants or little shops nearby. The beds were comfortable and the staff very kind and accomodating. We could leave our bags at reception on check-out day.

The room was smaller than expected and the "jaccuzi" is basically a bathtub with massage in a tiny bathroom. Breakfast is very pricey, it's better to go out to a restaurant. The AC blows cold air straight onto the bed, so it's impossible to have it on through the night.

Central and quiet location, the hosts are very kind and helpful. I recommend.
