Just 5kms from city and this was indeed in midst of forest. The view from the balcony was very beautiful. Food was very tasty and kind of home made.

We did not have an opportunity to have breakfast because we had gone to attend a wedding and all the meals and breakfast were taken at the marriage hall.

I wish there was a modest place for my car Driver to sleep as Virajpet being relatively on the cooler side sleeping in the car at night time was a challenge though a rug was provided by Forestdale. Providing dormitary accomodation for Drivers will add value to the Forestdale offering.

The place was very calm and distance away from the commercial areas. Had a very relax stay keeping all our stress and tensions away.. Food was very good, very good care taker (Govind and his wife), who took good care of us.

Can't say it that we didn't like it but suggest to include both lunch and dinner as a part of tariff as guest cannot go out for food unless needed, else we can drive back and have food at the resort. We did the same even though it is a long drive back.. Else no single complaints.

Frequent power cuts and generator didn't support AC.

The Good Part Set in the midst of lush greenery, beautiful views from the homestay property. Its a relatively new property with all amenities as per description. Caretaker Prakash was humble and served us homely food.

With the price we paid,the placedid not live upto its expectation 1. Shared balcony,no privacy 2. Basic amenities that are now adays available everywhere in every hotel / homestay such as tea coffee sachets ,tolietries at room, decent towels, bottled water were not available. The stay needs to be upgraded as we are paying so much for such mediocre service 3. The food options were extremely limited and averagetaste, not worth the price 4. Remote location,property looks its a building in construction 5. Wifi sucks so if you are going for a workcation, have your own arrangement 6. Amenities mentioned are misleading in name of sun deck its a shared roof like a construction house ,not maintaned. Express check in checkout was not provided to us 7. the shared kitchen was not accessible to the guest. the caretaker and his wife cooks but in limited option I will not recommend this property to anyone.

You wake up in the morning to the chirping of birds.Care taker, Prakash is helpful & caters to the request with a smiling face. He serves you homely tasty food. Food was awesome , it was home like and very tasty as well.

Amenities were not at best… TV had a problem from afternoon till evening… Geyser was not working correctly while having bath… amenities should be checked before keeping the room ready for clients..

Great location, situated on top of a hill. The service was prompt by Mr Rajender from time to time, who's cooked food we enjoyed. Both veg and non veg. Luxurious room with all basic facilities. It was so cosy that we didn't come out of the room till checkout. Will definitely recommend to families for a comfortable stay. The view from the balcony is wonderful, justifies the mountain view. Overall a great experience 😊👍

It was extremely hot in the afternoon and the fan air was not of much use since it's not directly above the bed. There is no AC fitted, so had trouble taking a nap. I would recommend amending this issue. Apart than this issue, everything was good.

Room and premises were very clean. The staff were friendly and helped us in setting up things. The owner guided us on places to visit during our stay, which was of great help. The food was good and very reasonable. In my prospective the location of property is excellent.

Nothing much, most of the things were taken care of. However, few additional activities could add more value, such as, coffee plantation tour or camp fire, etc.

Great hospitality. Good food. Brilliant location. If you want to chill with a view, this is the place to be. Close to south coorg tourist spots. Very big and well maintained rooms.

Well furnished, spacious rooms and well maintained. Good food, homemade and customized meals. Make sure to tell in advance, if you need any starters/ some special dish. Friendly caretaking couple, the guy knows Hindi and Kannada. Owner was very polite and helped us with information. Breathtaking views - don't miss the sunset, while sipping on some green tea.

Public transportation is not available easily near this homestay. Make sure to ask for Auto/cab contacts. The board near the entrance is small and might get missed out.

Excellent property , exceptional views from the room on the first floor . Room was spacious , well appointed and well maintained . Personalised service and very tasty food . The owner , Sunil is a great person , very friendly and supportive . The caretaker / cook is a young energetic person , Rajinder who really made our stay even more comfortable . The views were absolutely mesmerising and the rainy weather / misty setting made it a heavenly experience . Never felt like retiring from the huge balcony .

Owner is friendly.Spacious room and good view. The guy who works there (RAJINDER) is very friendly and cooks some yummy food. He arranged cake and candles on my request and is super nice. Best part I would say is food and the spacious rooms.

Amazing property. Lovely view. The rooms are massive and so are the bathrooms. The location is lovely. So clean and green. Rajinder and his family is amazing and cooked some outstanding food for us. Love to visit it again. Three Cheers and a huge shout out to Sunil Uthappa for the property. Our parents enjoyed the stay the most
