Amazing stay at Suni guesthouse. The lady running the house and her son are super accomodating. 100/100 recommend. The mattresses are comfy, the rooms are cosy and very clean, it is very quiet in the house and it feels like you’re staying with family. The bedsheets and the curtains had this super pretty embroidery on it which added a « homy » feel to our room. We forgot a couple of items in our room coz we were in a rush and they brought it to us all the way to subway despite a very snowy weather. We even had breakfast made especially for us at 6am one day as we were leaving early that day. We absolutely loved our stay.

The hosts were so kind and so helpful. The location is perfect for visiting Seoul. Breakfast is yum!

Suni's place was a typical, low key hanok style accommodation that felt welcoming and very authentic. Suni and her family took care of us, made us breakfast and helped with everything. All the responses were swift and helpful and she was willing to go the extra mile to accommodate our needs. Overall, the place was warm and homey, set next to a very vibrant neighbourhood full of restaurants and bars. If you are looking for a traditional style place that feels like visiting family, stay at Suni's home.

Very kind owners, cute and traditional home, near lots of restaurants etc but somehow very quiet, lovely breakfast included, very peaceful and relaxing, Lipton tea bags in the kitchen :)

Suni greeted us with a big warm welcome and continued to be a friendly and helpful host during our 3 night stay. The room was perfectly comfortable and the bathroom was super clean. The breakfast was different each day and beautifully presented.

A little pricey. Traditional Korean bathroom is small but private. We knew that when we booked the property based on descriptions and pictures.

First I would like to thank Suni and her family, they were absolutely wonderful hosts. Suni and her family were some of the nicest and most helpful people we have ever met. We can't thank them enough for all the support and help we received from them. During our stay we felt like we had a second home in Korea. We were treated like family. 🥰 The area is a student neighborhood where you have everything you need, including the subway that takes you almost anywhere in Seoul, and very quickly. When we arrived, it was National Day in South Korea and we couldn't find a place to exchange money. When Suni found out about it, she even gave us money until we could exchange it without my friend and I even asking. We wanted to go rail biking and Suni helped us book the tickets and even made a day plan for us (which metro to take, where to change, how to get back and even gave us tips on where to eat, she was just wonderful). It is the best authentic stay you can get in Seoul. Great hospitality, location, traditional Korean breakfast. Rooms are locked by the host every time you leave, so really safe. Even though there are so many restaurants, shops full of Korean students around, the rooms are super quiet. Me and my friend are light sleepers, but we didn't hear anything during the night. If you have the opportunity to book a room at Suni's, don't miss it! We will definitely do our best to come back to South Korea and we want to book Suni's home again.

Since it's a guest house I thought we would have access to the common areas and may e have dinner/breakfast together but it was not the case. The proximity with other guests' rooms did not give any real privacy (paper doors and curtains separate you from other rooms). I didn't expect that though I guess it's part of the concept?

A great place to stay for those who would like a more Korean experience. Suni and her family are very considerate hosts and looked after us well. We particularly enjoyed the Korean style breakfast included as part of our stay. It is a good location with easy access to public transport, both bus and metro train. Also many Korean eateries close by.

We found the towels to be on the small side.

The best authentic stay you can get in Seoul. Great hospitality, location, traditional korean breakfast (the bulgogi is crazily good). Suni and her family are super attentive, her son brought us to the metro station after we checked out and even bought our favorite fried chicken "popcorns" for us....yummmy... The rooms are locked by the host every time you leave the room for the day, so really safe. Eventhough there are so many restaurants, shops full of Korean students around, the rooms are super quiet. I'm a light sleeper but I did hear a thing during night.

Suni is very nice, and it was such a pleasure staying in her house. The way she prepared breakfast and talked to us like a friend made our stay very special. The area is a student's area where you have everything around you need, including the metro, which brings you almost everywhere in Seoul very quickly.

I wouldn't say I didn't like it, but you need to be aware that it's like family stay and it is totally different from the comfort in a hotel. You sleep on a mattress at the ground. Rooms are very small, and with two suitcases, it can become challenging to arrange yourselves.. But all of this made the experience very authentic.

The guesthouse was amazing , I liked everything and hope to stay there again when I return to Korea next year.

I loved that it gave us a local experience. It was close to the subway and shopping. It was an experience that you can’t get from a hotel. The breakfast was delicious.

Suni and her family were one of the nicest and most helpful people we have ever met. We simply can not thank them enough for all the support and help we got from them. 💝 During our stay we felt like we had a second home in Korea. We were treated like family. 🥰 They helped us carrying our heavy luggages, called us a taxi, gave us directions and recommendations to what to see in Seoul. The room was clean, the breakfast was delicious and the neighbourhood was quiet and peaceful. If you have the chance to book a room at Suni's, do not miss it!

Lovely people. Great location, close to subway and a really nice neighbourhood as well as the lovely stream. Breakfasts were incredible- works of art and delicious.

The house is beautiful, the room is very cozy, everything is clean, the area is well connected (close to subway and buses) but most importantly, Suni herself is extremely sweet. She is super helpful and wants to give recommendations to make sure your stay is the best. She suggested a bunch of nearby restaurants and we had great food, and helped us book KTX tickets. Other people working there (maybe all one family?) were all lovely. We wanted to stay longer. Also the breakfast is really good, exactly what you need for a day of sightseeing.

The breakfast was exceptional and the welcome warm. Every day the food was creative, colourful and delicious. One of us was vegetarian, and it was no problem at all. Great location for buses and the metro, and the area itself was great for wandering around, with plenty of shops and food places, and close to the river for a stroll.

Expected because of the nature of the accommodation, but we could hear all the other guests. Our room was the smallest of the three, so no floor space at all once the mattresses were rolled out. Tough getting up and down off the floor after a day walking in the mountains, haha.

Suni greeted us like family, she was an exceptional host, made us feel so welcome and she was so helpful with her recommendations. The location is extremely convenient with transport links and there is also lots to see/do/eat around the area which is next to Sungshin women's university area. Her place has a wonderful quaint, traditional homey vibe and also felt like a quiet oasis within Seoul, so we slept very well and comfortably. She made us breakfast each morning and you could tell lots of thought put into it. We will definitely come back when we visit Seoul again next time :)

The property was cozy, clean, well taken care of, warm, close to the subway, with all the amenities. Suni the host is an amazing and kind person. helpful in every way, eager to assist and give you information. Excellent servicié and delicious and homemade breakfast. Definitively coming back soon.

The Guesthouse was beautiful and Suni and her family were welcoming and warm. They did everything to make sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The breakfast was delicious! Also, when we had questions about restaurants, tours, or directions they were so helpful. We would definitely return.

Everything in our stay was just wonderful. It was great to be able to stay with such warm and caring people and feeling like you were part of their lovely family. I can't say enough about this guesthouse. The rooms were lovely and cozy, everything was spotless and we were greeted every morning by a delicious breakfast which I already miss. The location is excellent, near a lively street with great restaurants but really quiet. I can't wait to go back :)
