宮島駅のすぐ近くにあり、ロケーションも最高でした!
もみじ饅頭とアイスが自由に食べられるのが魅力的過ぎました。

Fantastic room for a family facing the Forrest greenery. It has a section for beds, massage chair, and a desk. The onsen was clean, comfortable, and pretty empty. 5 minute stroll to the ferry terminal which was super convenient. Also close to 7-11 to grab snacks and beer for the evening. Despite being so slice to the ferry and the main walkway it was very quiet and peaceful inside.
Nothing!

I will come back next time I visit Miyajima
The dinners offered. For someone who doesn't eat too much the buffet was far too expensive and the small snack restaurant had the same menu every day.

location is excellent and staff very helpful

Fantastic room and bathroom; really nicely designed. Loved the sento with the view of the port. Excellent location. Loved that there was a bar, restaurant, bakery and garden. Really an excellent place to stay.
No real place to be able to put anything in the bathroom as all areas covered with stuff from the hotel. Strange carpet in the corridors: carpet looking like wooden floorboards!

Great location just across the road from the ferry. Large bedroom with view over the water. Very friendly staff.
A little more choice for non Japanese guests.

The architectural design and interior decoration are cozy yet elegant. We love the room with the sea view and the massage chair. After spending time in tiny hotel rooms in cities, we just went crazy for the vast space inside which kinda felt like home: a big tv screen, cozy mattresses and duvets, and easily adjustable a/c. Walking around the hotel was comfortable with their lounge wear and Japanese slippers, and the onsen is easy to access and very relaxing. The staff are very friendly and eager to help out. Everywhere we walked past, they greeted and were attentive even though some of them may not speak a fluent English. Breakfast is abundant and very well-managed.
The price can be quite expensive, but considering the experience we received and the view of the Tori in the early morning, I think it was worth it.

It's located in front of the pier and convenient. All day free coffee, tea, and shift drinks. Having massage chair in a room was nice touch.
A little bit pricy.

This is a beautiful hotel on a magnificent island. Three of us were sharing a room and happily we were upgraded to a traditional room when we arrived. The room was immaculate and spacious with a giant bathroom area. There was also an unbelievable massage chair in the room. We fought over it! We were given "lounge wear" to wear around the hotel, but as Americans were were too uninformed to know exactly when to wear the outfits. Seeing the other guests later we figured it out... dinner and breakfast (at least). Because we were there during the coronavirus outbreak the hotel did not serve their usual buffet. They compensated by serving a "course" meal for dinner and breakfast and they probably served all the foods that were on the buffet for the meals, an extraordinary amount of excellently prepared, beautifully served, delicious food. The service by the staff was flawless and omnipresent. The onsen is located on the top floor with a magnificent view of the water. It's just a fantastic hotel.

I've been reviewing hotels on Booking for a number of years, travel often and extensively through Japan and have stayed at many, many hotels throughout the country. This is only the second 10 rating I've given.
Location: If you're familiar with Miyajima, this hotel is located within footsteps of the main ferry dock that brings you to the island. Seriously, it's a couple dozen yards away. From my hotel window, I could watch the ferries coming and going directly below.
Hotel: The second you walk in, this is a hotel that embodies "comfort." Everything about the lobby puts you at ease and assures you you're going to be staying in a fantastic hotel.
Staff: The staff were absolutely fantastic. All could speak excellent English (although I can speak Japanese and my wife is a Japan national) and one girl in particular had lived in the states for a number of years, had a wonderful personality and was originally from a Kansai town I lived in for many years. These staffers were beyond excellent.
Room: I booked the Triple Room w/ Sea View and it was absolutely wonderful. The bedding area was a long, flat wooden platform with three futon-type mattresses laid next to each other. Very comfortable and lying in bed with the windows open to the view of the harbor was wonderful.
Onsen: I prefer outdoor baths (rotenburo) but this on was as good as it gets. Huge windows looking out over the harbor. Not sure if people could see us in the bath but I don't particularly care.
Restaurant: WONDERFUL. Always a combination of European and Japanese cuisine, free open liquor bar at dinner (AWESOME), phenomenal pastas and wines, attentive and professional staff, probably the highlight of my stay.
Overall: I've been to Miyajima many times and to be honest it isn't particularly exciting anymore, but I WILL come back to Miyajima in the next year and this hotel is the main reason. I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL MORE HIGHLY.
NOTHING. If I have to make something up, I wouldn't have minded a rooftop rotenburo with an outdoor lounge where I could lay on a deck chair smoking a Cuban cigar with a highball, vodka-soda and 32oz Asahi Super Dry next to me, but fantasies exist just to be fantasies.

Fantastic location right opposite the ferry terminal. Wonderful restaurant and food selection. Lovely rooms and bathrooms. Staff overall very nice and friendly.
The restaurant closing at 9pm was a pain. Not enough elevators at peak times. Mountain view wasn't much of a view.
