Location is awesome...i travelled to puducherry with my bestee. both of us enjoyed a lot. breakfast was good. stay was comfortable. staff is very cooperative..nd friendly.

Upon arrival we were met by very helpful and friendly staff. A Doorman sorted out our suitcases for us and the Reception staff were polite and helpful. Our room was large and clean & tidy with a view overlooking the old lighthouse and the promenade and Bay of Bengal. We stayed for 4 nights on a bed and breakfast basis. The breakfast and general dining arrangements were first class and the staff were were polite and helpful, as were the Egg Chefs. There was plentiful food which was a fine selection of Indian cuisine. The location was superb sitting nicely on the promenade which has now been pedestrianised and was clean and tidy. All front of house staff were well presented and most helpful as were the housekeeping staff. A special thankyou to the young Manager, Asis Kumar Sahoo, who went out of his way to try and secure us tickets for the IPL CSK v Kolkata match the following Sunday. We thank him for his support towards us and to his entire team of staff for making our stay pleasant. Kind regards, Allan & Christine

There was nothing to dislike.

the location is perfect. you can’t beat it. there is a spa onsite which was lovely. staff are friendly but sometimes service took ages. I had to send a steak back and wait over half an hour for a hairdryer.

I used to work for a boss who said you don’t sleep in restaurants so don’t eat in hotels. I would say this would be good advice. the hotel location is perfect. clean and safe. but there are many fab places to eat very close by.

We had a satisfactory stay at The Prominade. Travlled as a family with 2yo, and 6mo. Location was excellent, convenient to shopping and the beach. The pool was good also, well liked by the kids. The restaurant food was good.

The hotel was very noisy. The walls and doors were very thin, so heard comings and goings throughout the night, and lots of noise from the rooftop bar. We requested a roll-out bed for our 2yo daughter - this was made on our booking, again at check in, and again with a follow up phone call. At 9:30pm at night (2 hours after our children went to bed) housekeeping knocked very loudly on our door, awakening the kids, to try and deliver the roll out bed. Breakfast was overpriced if not booked through the booking.

I visited pondi for 5 days with our 4 year kid. We split our stay in 2 parts , 3 days in other hotel nd 2 days in white town . We booked the promenade to stay and explore white town. Staff at reception counter(the male one) was so disrespectful. He assured us to give us a sea view room (for which i have done the booking! 14k per day from 1-3rd march thru booking.com) at higher floor as we didnt like rooms at first floor. He denied later ,that too in very disrespectful way. The room was no where near to the cost taken. We got a broken chair for which housekeeping person took 45 mins to fix it after we checked in , means without checking room condition they just give to guest. We requested for a extra chair , called 4 times ,but our request was overheard. Apart from that the restaurant service was bizarre. Rooftop restaurant don't take room service order, seriously.. Ground floor restaurant accepts room service , top floor doesn't.. blah blah... Back to your first floor sea view rooms, anyone walking on road in front of your hotel can easily peep into room, which is so big no to privacy , we didnt liked the room, upper floor rooms were empty still after requesting so many times team didnt bother to respond. Conclusion- the location of the hotel is good, but if you want value for money and respect as guest i wont recommend thid.

We were of the impression that the accomnadation included breakfast which we had to pay for.

Hotel is situated at prime location having a sea front. Beautiful place with numerous eating options. The morning buffet was so cool. I think, its only the best hotel within city limits in Pondicherry.

Check-in timing is 14:00 and we reached hotel at 7:30 in the morning. They should also consider the timings of Pondi trains and flights as most of them reach early in the morning and tweek their timings for good. What guests would do for 5-6 hours without room and with small kids? Although, Hotel has managed and provided us room at 11:00 which was a good gesture. Thanks for that.
