From check-in to check-out the service we received at Hotel Conte Ruggero was exceptional. We travelled with two little kids.The rooms were very clean and tidy, service staff serviced the room daily, breakfast was so lovely with a beautiful view over the Main Street, and above all Rachel and Pasquale were so very kind and helpful. They both went above to make sure our stay was comfortable and memorable. Our stay at Hotel Conte Ruggero made our stay at Serra San Bruno. the town is a hidden gem! 10/10 in every aspect. We cannot wait to return.

The location is right in centre of the town. It is walking distance to almost everything in Serra San Bruno. Coffee and gelato bars across the street and several other options as well. The breakfast provided by the wonderful staff at the hotel is excellent, you have a good selection to choose from and they make it fresh for you and great special coffees like cappuccino, lattes. The rooms are very modern, good wifi, and very well maintained. We feel it is very good value and we will be back to this hotel on our next visit.

The location was perfect and walking to nearby stores and sites was easily accessible. Staff were EXCEPTIONAL Friendly owners Very Clean and well kept Traditional Italy Breakfast was very good

Bed was a little hard

The receptioniste was extremely friendly and even walked to the restaurant with me down the street to make a reservation (and help translate) The room was nice price-quality wise, and the breakfast was also great on the 2nd floor.

If you prefer extreme quiet you should als for a room that is not on the main street. As I was very tired I rather enjoyed the voices coming from the bar across the street.

Very central in Serra San Bruno. The rooms are very comfortable. The breakfast, which you can enjoy on the beautiful roof terrace in good weather, exceeded our expectations. All in all a very nice stay.

Very nice hotel in very good location. It is close to shops and a few places to eat. The hotel owner was very friendly and helpful. It made our stay very memorable.

Staff were lovely, comfy room, stored my bike safely, great central location, clean, good breakfast selection. (Opposite church and the bell ringers really go for it on sundays and festival days - I liked it but it will wake you up at 7am)

Nothing it was all perfect

We loved the very modern hotel housed in an old building in the centre of Serra San Bruno. We loved the very gentle personnel - particularly Floriana and Sara - who made us feel at home. The owner was also particularly kind in helping me to put my motorbike in his store close to the hotel so that it was not left outside. The breakfast was served on a beautiful terrace overlooking the main street of Serra. The room was very modern and beautifully set in the corner of the building. We had a balcony, a door and a window. The hotel was very clean and very well cared for. Serra San Bruno is a beautiful place with lots of restaurants, bars, woods and places of interest to explore and Hotel Conte Ruggero is perfectly set to make possible a great stay in this beautiful town.

Central location, good wifi, very tasteful and new rooms. I asked for a quiet room and it was indeed not very loud.

Room is a bit small, but still OK. Owner doesn't speak English, so communication is rather difficult. Corona breakfast in the bar next-door is a joke - just a cup of coffee and a croissant. AC is noisy.

Hotel Conte Ruggero was great for a one-night stopover in Calabria. Fantastically centrally located, with a small balcony overlooking the busy main street and interesting cafés. We love observing the local passeggiata (evening stroll) in Italian towns and this was one of the liveliest we’ve ever seen. Despite our location, the noise didn’t bother us once the windows were closed and the air conditioner switched on. The room was nice enough and included a mini refrigerator. The bed was comfortable; too bad about the dried blood stain on the covers. Because of Covid-19, the breakfast buffet wasn’t happening, but we were able to eat on the sunny balcony and choose whatever we wanted from the menu. Parking is probably scarce at busy times in this town, but we were able to park right behind the hotel. Reception can add your licence number to an exemptions list which means you can park nearby without being fined. There are surely much nicer places to stay in the area with pools and such, but this hotel served our needs.

Our room was right next to the first-floor exit used by all the other guests, but again, it didn’t seem too loud during our stay. The bed cover had dried blood stain on it.
