Personeel van hoog niveau, zeer vriendelijk geen enkele vraag is teveel moeite. We hadden een vroege vlucht en konden eerder op de kamer. Ontbijt uitstekend, zeer comfortabele bedden, prettige badkamer. De wijk is leuk, dichtbij zeer goede restaurants. Hotspot Praca do Comercio is op loopafstand net als de drukke winkelstraten zoals Rua Augusta.De locatie is niet geschikt voor mensen die slecht ter been zijn, heuvel op en heuvel af.

The Staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and joyful. The rooms were very lovely, clean and comfortable. The meals at the restaurant were delicious and elegant. The view from Torel Palace was lovely and a joy to wake up to.

es gibt etwas zu wenig Steckdosen. wenn man zu zweit unterwegs ist, gibt es 2 handys, die geladen werden wollen, vielleicht noch ein tablet und eine Zahnbürste oder so eine ezigarette.

Great palace with all the modern 5* facilities

Pls note that it’s on the hill, which means some walking uphill. Which is though part of staying in Lisbon. And taxis to skip walking are super cheap and abundant

This place is perfect! The entire staff is incredible! All of the facilities are gorgeous! We felt like honored guests in a mansion! The restaurants are wonderful, the bar is classy, and the entire experience is one of my favorites ever. Easy to get everywhere using the funicular. I will return!

It is a wonderful hotel ,with the most amazing view, excellent breakfast.and so close ,just a 10 minutes walk to the nicest upscale shopping street .Very nice swimming pool area, different levels where you can sit and enjoy the majestic view, nice bar .Rooms are in 3 different very beautiful buildings next to each other.Our room was in the white building ,it was huge ,so was the bathroom, and really nicely decorated.Stuff in also wonderful ,very polite ,smiling and helpful.

The property was absolutely beautiful. The views were stunning and the patios/seating areas were always well kept. Our breakfast was included and it ran until 11 which we found really good, there was always a great selection of food too. The staff were so lovely and attentive, nothing was ever too much

Breakfast - This was the best "continental" breakfast spread we've ever seen. Views - The palace is at the top of a hill so there are really lovely views over the city throughout the space, and especially great views from the top floor room we stayed in - we could see all the way across the city to the water. Design - Gorgeous decor throughout the interior and exterior of the buildings, all spaces felt very special and well-considered. Bathroom - Tub and shower were very luxurious, with consistently hot water and nice complimentary products. After staying in some very old buildings in Portugal with spotty plumbing throughout our trip, we were thrilled to stay in a place with historic character AND modern amenities. Staff - Welcome staff were very friendly, showed us to and around our room and brought up our luggage, which was so appreciated after a long trip. Everyone seemed eager to make sure we were comfortable and all our needs were met.

Noise - There was ongoing construction on the property that added some noise pollution at breakfast and in the outdoor areas like the pool, but luckily we couldn't hear it from our room. Room size - Not necessarily a negative, but this is was the first booking.com reservation I've stayed in where the hotel room didn't match the photos. The photos show multiple guest rooms with different decor, but all seem similar in space and sizing. However, ours happened to be on the top attic floor with very slanted ceilings - ie. very limited walking around space. This was fine for our one night stay and I'm sure our top floor views balanced out the lack of space, but I would have been disappointed with the tight quarters if we were booked for a longer stay . I would suggest uploading the exact room photos to booking so guests can know what they're getting in advance, which is always appreciated. Restaurant Hours - We wish the dinner restaurant had been open during our stay (closed Sun-Mon), especially because so many fine dining Lisbon restaurants close on these days. It would offer a great alternative for vacationing hotel guests looking for a nice dining experience while the city sleeps :)

Breakfast was super, location was good and staff were wonderful , very peaceful stay and background music outside was great.

The Torel Palace is one of the best hotels I stayed in. The views of the city from the hill top where this hotel is located are spectacular. The breakfast with fresh fruits and delicious breads has everything for everyone. But most of all, the super accommodating staff, always friendly and ready to help with any needs. I will definitely recommend this hotel.

Service was outstanding, particularly one of the staff called Alex who went above and beyond to help with our car (after it was locked into the garage due to a door fault).

The view was awesome (despite the construction, which we were warned about), the pool was lovely, the breakfast was delicious (one of the best we have ever had at a hotel!). Alex at the front desk was very nice and helpful.

We happened to be there for one night during a holiday and the property held a loud public party until very late, which we were not warned about at the time of booking. We felt we were unable to use the property's pool area in the evening because it was blocked off for said party. The restaurant was closed for the evening, but the party food on offer did not have anything gluten-friendly for my diet. And the party itself felt very unorganized and confusing. We were "upgraded" to a room that was directly above the DJ for the party and had to listen to loud bass well into the night (1AM). The shower had no shower gel left, and because our phone was not working we were unable to call down to the front desk (and though they knew the phone wasn't working, made no attempt to fix it). Overall, we did feel rather disappointed that our bad luck/lack of knowledge of this party meant we did not get to experience the property to its fullest, get a good sleep, nor feel we got our money's worth for our last-night-in-Lisbon treat.

High end boutique hotel, staff were fantastic . Quality of suite we stayed in was excellent. We were a group of friends who had 3 rooms, would say this hotel is not suitable for large groups , but for family & couples spot on.

Food at dinner did take 1hr &1 dish was forgot of original order how we they did try to rectify but did take over 30min to get missing dish.
