After reading so many bad reviews about Los Olivos we were worried about this place. But it EXEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS and it was a pleasent surprise! Everything was perfect! First of all the check in was at 03.00 pm but they gave us the room earlier without extra charges, that was realy nice after such a long trip we were exhausted, after that we enjoyed free welcoming drinks at Margaritas rooftop. The room was large and bright, all the facilities we needed were already in the room. The location was perfect- close to the beach and restaurants. Beds were very comfortable, the room was super clean and there was a large balcony, qute place for a good night rest. We were stayng only 1 nigt but we made a reservation for another 3 nights! See you soon Los Olivos :)

What's not to like?

Loved the breakfast. Location was brilliant.

Reception was supposed to be open all night but it wasn't. Didn't get a lot of help from reception.

The staff was great great great and we enjoyed the pools and the sky bar and the location was ideal.

The villa was a little outdated and maybe needs some extra love in the coming years.

Our room faced onto the road and directly opposite the dining room of the next door hotel. No privacy. The first 2 days we had a truly repugnant smell of sewerage in our room and we asked to be moved but the hotel tried to clear it and it took a plumber attending over 2 days to clear it. They should have let us have another room. The sun loungers round the pool were laid out with no space at all between them so you had to lie immediately next to the person next to you. Awful.

The location was excellent and the Reception staff helpful. It is very close to the beach and restaurants. The omelette station was very good at breakfast and the food choices at breakfast were also good. The pool was nice with the sun on it most of the day. The air con was efficient (we had a top floor apartment which has air con rather than just a fan like in the ground floor apartments) and it was needed during our stay. The private roof terrace was also nice, with a lovely view The restaurants in the area were plentiful. Loch Ness Restaurante was our favourite with lovely staff and excellent food and the prices for both food and drink were very reasonable. The closest big supermarket was Mercadona which was up the hill from Puerto Colon. We do like to cook in some times and this was the only supermarket that sold fresh meat, fish, and a large variety of fruit and vegetables. Up the hill from Los Olivos there were El Duke Shops with El Duke Cafe and Bar and they had a singer guitarist every night from 8.30pm (Silvio Music Man) and he was excellent. We had a few nice nights there. It was our first time in Costa Adeje and we enjoyed our ten nights and we would certainly go back to Los Olivos Beach Resort, mainly due to the location.

The cooking utensils were sparse in the apartment with no frying pan, and no washing up facilities were provided, ie tea towels, washing up liquid, scourers, dish cloths etc. We bought a couple of mugs to use as the cups in the apartment were very small. We had an information sheet stating there was a happy hour at the pool bar every day between 1600 and 1700, but this was stopped after two days at the management request apparently with no reason given to us when we asked. By the pool bar one day there was a bunch of rowdy drunk men shouting and swearing and there were young children in the area, and the following day a group of loud drunk girls. The pool bar staff kept serving them despite their drunken behaviour. The steps to the roof terrace were steep and there was no sun umbrella so we were unable to enjoy it to the fullest.

room wasn’t cleaned as well as normal on arrival always seems to be work going on - eg drilling in some parts would be good to make the Fañabe pool adults only to try and encourage noisy children / families to go to the other one

After taking a lot of time and trouble to pre check in we had to wait to 16:00 to get our room on Feb. 9t. Then the floor was wet. Persons in lobby were not accommodating and took every courteous question about the status as an assault.

Staff fabulous, breakfast excellent, all the staff professional in their roles.

Cannot find fault with the staff, accommodation or location.

A bit slow when checking in

staff very unhelpful. We didn't learn the hotel had its own underground car park until we left, despite having asked about parking.

The location was excellent, and the reception staff were very welcoming and friendly.

The studio was a bit small for three people

great location lovely views all the facilities we need good selection at breakfast several nice pools entertainment if you wanted it our 4th stay I’m sure we will be back friendly staff as well

super stay but storage of case on the last day awful. Had to take case down and up the stairs whilst staff watch on. In the end a man waiting to check in took my case for me.

Next to the beach, good located.

On website said that you have access to the TheClub but didn’t, you have to pay extra, even on all inclusive. I don’t mind paying for what they can offer, but please tell people what you can offer for that money.

Property was spacious, clean and comfortable. Having two balconies was a pleasant surprise too!

The air con perhaps needed cleaned more regularly as both my partner and I got sore throats due to it.
