The facility is totally abounded, the pool wasn’t working, place is not maintain at all. Pictures you see on internet and in a reality is very different, and price we pay for such a abounded place is way too much

Direct at the beach.

It was not possible to get breakfast on the time we agreed with the employees. There is only one umbrella available, otherwise you have to sit/lie in the sun. The private beach is not really private.

The ocean location Nathalie works hard although her manager makes it difficult for her to do her job effectively. She has to be reactive rather than proactive to the many, many complaints from other guests.

This hotel needs serious investment. We had sewage from the upstairs rooms running down our bathroom wall, my husband cleaned the pool daily. It was an infinity pool which didnt operate properly due to the low level of water. Initially a security guard was the only person on site but he became overtly sexual to me and had to be reported- the hotel acted instantly once we had made it clear this was totally unacceptable behaviour. The maid was a delight and got rid of the cockroaches for us, on a daily basis. You, as Booking.com have not visited this hotel for years. Please be advised we will contact you directly with a full complaint including photos. 1

The reception area looked shabby and created a very poor first impression. The beach was good for swimming but not for snorkelling; a lot of silt, very few corals and fish.

The staffs are helpful.

They are very kind and pleasant, but understaffed as there is no reception.

Fantastic location. Right on the beach. The bath is AMAZING... Jets, colour changing LED lights and heated backrest. The view from our balcony was breathtaking. Perfect sunset views over the sea. The breakfast was the best we had in Mauritius. The pool was nice and warm. Lots of bird life on the premises.

The air-conditioning did not cool down the room very well and was dripping lots of water on the floor. The windows that form part of the wooden folding door to the deck could not close fully so we had a fair number of beatles and geckos enter the room - the lack of insulation probably added to the air-conditioning troubles. Plumbing issues - our shower and the neighbours shower overflowed when we drained the bath... Water everywhere. We also had no hot water two nights in a row. Generally the property has very high end finishes, but the wood, plumbing, garden and aircon needs maintenence.

Very clean, spacious room with terace. Nice poll and access to the beach. They are lacking off staff but they are doing their best to accomodate the guests. They are cleaning rooms every day. There are toiletries in the bathroom, coffe/tea, bottle off water will wait you at the room.

Like majority off island, they have water heater on solar energy, which means if you take your shower late, after all other guests or in the morning, you would probably shower with almost cold water, what happened to me almost every day

The location is quite beautiful, but in no way do the facilities match the photos.

I can only feel sorry for the staff at this unmaintained establishment. The person who cleans and the man who runs security at night were very friendly. There is no reception, no services, and no wifi. It isn't their fault, only that of the management who clearly don't care to put any time nor effort into maintaining what could be a beautiful venue for locals and tourists alike. We tried to phone Nathalie (assumably the manager) several times during our stay, but she never got back to us. You will be alone there, for better or for worse.

Due to covid impact, hotel is working with limited staff and renovation is on. However, the team is there to help you. It's a perfect boutique hotel that one will love to stay.

Proximity to the beach

TV was not working; Smelly room (it seems that there’s a problem with their drain pipe) despite being moved to a different one after raising this issue. In fact, it got worse and had to sleep with the open windows for the whole night. Furthermore, on the second day the breakfast was incomplete (no chicken sausage and fruits) and again this was raised with the kitchen staff and she said that she didn’t manage to buy these - how can you run a business with such a lack of planning! Very disappointing and won’t recommend this place to anyone.

The view of the ocean is amazing and I spent most of the time on the deck watching waves and the sunset. The staff had also had a lovely flower arrangement to welcome me to the hotel. The check-in process was online and amazing.

The hotel was a bit run down, though understandable as it had not been operational for a number of months due to COVID. There is also no clear reception/concierge staff so it was difficult to obtain information when needed especially how to book for activities in the sister hotel.
