The property was in a great location just below the castle wall with easy access to all attractions. It’s a very comfy Studio with a really high standard of decoration and cleanliness. The owners were friendly and really made our stay, making us feel very welcome, nothing was too much trouble, they were available to give us information when required and very kindly showed us round the amazing building they are restoring.

Location-it’s just a few minutes walk to the citadel/old Town. Beauty-Carcassone is a medieval place rich in history. Service- I would say it’s a 5star kind of service extended to us. Since, we came from Avignon, Fred picked us up at the train station and drove us again to the station on our way to Lourdes. Cleanliness-the unit where we stayed is immaculately clean.

From booking it and reading about this accommodation my partner and I were very excited to stay here on our trip to Carcassonne. And it did not disappoint. From our initial meeting of Fred and Delphine they were the most amazing hosts. Being collected from the airport to the accommodation while getting some sightseeing on the way was an added bonus. The apartment was absolutely spotless, very comfortable with everything we needed facilities wise. The building itself is a beautiful old style building hundreds of years old that has been turned into a very comfortable, modern but charming stay. We had everything at our doorstep from fresh croissants in the morning from the local shop next door to little treats that were given to us from Delphine and Fred. The location was perfect for us being on the foothills of the medieval castle and only a 10 minutes walk into the town also. The area was lovely with great little bars and restaurants on the door step. Credit to the owners on turning this beautiful building into a fantastic accommodation to stay at. Highly recommended for us and we will definitely be back.

Everything Location perfect. Accomodation very historical and extremely well furnished. We stayed in the 1 bedroomed apartment with comfortable bed, brilliant shower room and updated well equipped kitchen and eating area. WiFi and Bluetooth Hi fi system. Overlooking the quiet street, and extra room to the rear with castle view. Fred and Dalphene were wonderful hosts and could not do enough for you

They are presently renovating other rooms and know they will be tastefully upgraded to reflect the character of the building. We felt we were living in a castle. Highly recommended. Plenty of eateries on the street below and 5 minutes walk to the Cite which also has plenty to choose from. Mini market next door for day to day items, and Truffle Wine bar across the road. Fred and Delphine are wonderful hosts. They went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. The apartment is beautifully renovated in a historic building. We loved the accommodations, the location and the hosts! We would definitely stay here again.

All aspects of our stay were amazing. Fred and Delphine were just so kind and generous. From airport pick up, a warm welcome and to support to direct activities. The property was stunning with such a depth of history. We were delighted with the apartment. The view was breathtaking. The apartment was amazing -it was extremely comfortably, beautifully decorated and had everything that one could possibly need to make a stay so special. Highly recommend this property

Fred and Delphine - such exceptional hosts! The apartment was superb; and was spotlessly cleaned when we arrived. It is located in a superb position, close to the castle but also walking distance from the town and supermarket.
