#property gave absolute quietness in a very rural location with a well equipped kitchen and facilities. If you want to chill out in a perfectly peaceful place with excellent country views . . . this property is for you. The nearest pub in the village had re-opened a few days prior to our visit and served excellent food. Although well and truly in the country the nearest big town (Market Harborough) was only 10 minutes drive away.
Visitors shouldn't forget this is a farming area with an environment to match so we did have a little trouble with wasps getting into the property. We pointed this out to the proprietor so this may well get dealt with in the future.

Everything was as shown on web sight so knew what to expect. We needed a nice quiet break and not too far from a market town for meal out and a bit of shopping.
It would have been nice to go to the local pub within walking distance unfortunately it has recently closed. Sign of the times in small villages.

Although very clean, some points in the bathroom area would benefit from consideration - such as a towel rail, more shelf space, a non-slip mat in the bath (as it's very slippery when showering), a more 'relaxed' loo seat which wouldn't descend in such clattering haste. Also, an improved door fastening - the latch and bolt require considerable effort to make them function.

Very well stocked with range of equipment for cooking, eating, cleaning etc. Comfortable place to stay for a few days. Enough room to feel at ease, even though it looks small from the outside.
We had a problem with bedding. There were only feather and down pillows and duvets. My husband is highly allergic to feathers. It would be much safer to have a choice of at least some synthetic bedding or at least to advertise the fact clearly on the booking site, as it could be very dangerous for some people.

Very homely, fully equipped, comfortable bed, extremely peaceful and quiet which suits me as I was working nights and got a peaceful sleep in the daytime, Rachel is lovely and very helpful and accommodating, brought extra towels when my wife joined me at the weekend, highly recommended and would absolutely book again if working in the area, thank you Rachel

Awsome view, everything was provided by the owner from kitchen gear to bedroom to bathroom sanitaries.

beautiful location and very clean. perfect size for our family of four. loved the enclosed garden - very safe for our 2 year old! extremely well equipped accommodation that had everything we needed.

The booking was nice and easy, communication with the host was simple and she met us at the property. Everything we needed was available, and the views were lovely!
Mattress in the double bedroom was too soft for my liking, I kept feeling I was about to fall out of bed 😄

Lovely big spacious barn-conversion cottage. Two bedrooms, though i only used one. Bathroom with bath (a rarity these days). Under-floor heating! Warm throughout the whole house all of the time. No radiators, it has a ground heat pump, and maintains an automatic warm temperature everywhere. There's quite a hum from the pump behind a locked door in the kitchen/living area, but it doesn't reach the bedrooms, so isn't an issue. The garden looks like it would be lovely in the summer or nice weather any time of year. The host Rachel is very friendly and accommodating. I'd love to stay here again. I was working nearby, and will no doubt be back again for work.

It was much bigger than the photos or the outside make it look! Very good size, there were 2 adults & 2 children staying and we had plenty of space. Very easy to get to from M1 so has good connections from across the country. Would definitely stay again. Rachel was also very friendly and welcoming.

The barn was comfortable, quiet and relaxing exactly as we had hoped. The local pub was only a 10min walk away and was a good old fashioned country pub.
Shower and bath were fantastic, everything was clean and tidy. Communication with the owner was prompt and helpful.
There was nothing that we disliked, the barn was as described.
