Overall, it’s a lovely place with a great setup – the cooking hob is perfect for self-catering, and the shower room is nice. While the bedding is washed, it still carries a noticeable odor of body fluids and sweat, likely from long-term use. Despite this, I would happily stay here again if I visit Switzerland because it’s such a charming apartment. I’m leaving this feedback with the hope that the owner can address these points. Since it’s a business and people are paying for their stay, it would be wonderful if guests could fully enjoy the comfort their payment reflects. 😊

The bed has a strong odor, and it seems the sofa bed may have been used instead for that reason, which has led to the sofa absorbing some of these smells as well. It appears that years of use without regular airing or cleaning may have allowed sweat and other odors to build up in the mattress, bedsheets, pillow, and pillowcases. For comfort, it would be ideal if items like the duvet, bed covers, and sheets were refreshed at least every 1-2 years, and the mattress replaced every 2-3 years. This would help ensure guests can fully relax and enjoy a good night’s sleep, especially considering the rate.

This was a nice little apartment that had everything we needed. Communication was great and the price was an excellent value. It is also very close to Lake Geneva, a grocery store, and restaurants.

The place is very close to the bus station You can travel to Lausanne by going to thonon Les bains bus station and then go by bateau U can go to geneva direct by bus number 271 It was really easy. There was a parking lot allocated for us but we didn't have a car But this was a good option for those who have their cars. The owner of the apartment has explained in details how to use things and equipment in the apartment which was very interesting for me. I would like to thank him for such detailed explanation :)

There is no night life around. Additionaly I was depending on public transportation which ends by 7 pm. So I have to be home by this time. People who may come with their cars can avoid this problem.

just perfect! a great sized clean and bright apartment with a dedicated parking space. There are good amenities within a few minutes walk i.e. boulangerie, restaurants and fast food etc. The supermarket is approx 1 mile away.

nothing :) although others may not like that the road outside is very busy.
