The apartment was very easy to get to, an in walking distance to the beach and local pubs. The rooms were very clean and had everything that you needed. A low ceilings when going up the stairs, husband hit his head a few times.

The shower wasn’t the best, the water pressure was very low. Other than that I couldn’t find any fault with the place.

The location was perfect for us, the apartment was comfortable and very well appointed also lovely people running it

Apartment was excellent and had everything we needed. Great location and Richard was very helpful and accommodating. Having our two young children, it was very handy that we had one of the ground floor apartments as we could easily access via the patio area. Clean, tidy and good sized apartment considering the price. Would definitely return in the future!

The outside private road could do with improving, as quite bumpy, but not sure how much control owners have on that.

We was met at the front door and helped up to our room with our bags which was extremely helpful.

We had a fabulous week in the apartment. It was very clean and the kitchen was well-equipped with everything you need. The bathroom was functional but needs a bit of updating. The location is perfect, being easy walk to the beach area and the town.

Poor sound insulation between the ground floor apartment and the apartment above. This was only an issue with inconsiderate guests on one night. The kitchen is very compact.

I would prefer a normal bed instead of a sofa bed.

Had everything we needed and the welcome pack was lovely. Beds were extremely comfortable and the apartment was warm and inviting. Good facilities in the kitchen. Off road parking a bonus. Lovely light rooms with bonus of an outside seating area.

A few minor cleaning issues (extractor over the cooker could have done with some attention, although the rest of it was spotless!) and there were a few soap splatters in one of the bathrooms. Another lamp in the sitting room would have been perfect.

Very convenient and excellent value for money. Good communication from the host before check in and a slightly later check-in than envisaged was easily accommodated. Very comfortable accommodation - perfect for a long weekend.

The bathroom is a little dated but that's a very minor point considering how great everything else was.

The fact that we had to wait to check in even though I had requested an earlier check in. We were not allowed to enter earlier and were told on our early arrival at the apartment that we could have paid extra for a earlier checking, but we were never offered this when I requested a earlier check in because had we known when I requested an early check in we would have been more than happy to pay extra to gain access sooner as we had been travelling from really early that morning from the UK, instead we had to sleep in the car waiting for the time to arrive for us to be able to gain access to the apartment.

every single thing you would want for a holiday was in the apartment, brilliant

there was only one thing that let it down was the rooms were cold, the heating went off at night and being winter they should have been left on

Great location, coastal path at the end of the road. Eating places close by, the apartment was very clean and well equipped, double bed very comfortable; host had thought of everything. Tea, coffee, milk and biscuits much appreciated.

One very minor thing, and this is probably subjective - one of the mattresses on the single bed was very firm, which meant we had to rotate who slept on it. But if you like a hard mattress, you'll love it.

Little items that make a house a home- tea/coffee/sugar/milk/ cookies/water/towels. Friendly hosts that make a second home away from home. Clean and tidy rooms.

Bathtub area may need higher handles on the wall to climb into bathtub for more disabled friendly guests. Hot water tap in master bedroom ensuite may need thermostat to be reduced as it is very hot, especially for young/old kids and adults.

The apartment was spotlessly clean and superbly equiped. Practically everything you could think of had been taken care of. There was even a fresh pint of milk in the refrigerator, so we could have a hot drink as soon as we arrived.

There was only one minor gripe that I can think of, and I know that if the owner, Richard, reads this, he'll address. The knives in the kitchen were a little blunt and a sharpener would have been handy. But that is the only fault I can find. Not only would I recommend Summerhill apartments, we intend to return on future dates. Well done, Richard, you really go the extra mile.
