This property is in a superb location - beach right in front of the door, lovely view from the balcony of the beach, too. Restaurants and Shanklin Chine within walking distance and just a tiny bit further but still within walking distance Shanklin center, shops, lovely antique shops, too, train station, etc. The beach / cliff side is great for treasure searching of fossils and the likes, too. :) It was super-easy to pick up the key according to instructions - and to leave it right there again. No "in person" contact with the owners, but this way we could leave right away which was handy for us. We were in touch with the owners and received replies almost immediately - very helpful. The rooms were comfortable, lots of space and we found everything we needed. We'd definitely stay here again.

Unfortunately the dishwasher and the washing machine didn't work. We were informed about the dishwasher before we arrived and it didn't really matter to us - no problem. The washing machine was a bit more tricky for us - we got in touch with the owners and they were very sorry. They hadn't been informed about the washing machine not working as it hadn't been checked before our arrival and it seems to have been a problem of the electricity (same wall) - they had already informed someone to fix it but they were taking their time to get back to them. So this problem couldn't be solved during our stay. It was a pity, but clearly not the owners' fault. So we solved it by handwashing our clothes.

Parking. We went in off season so on road parking was available but would be much more difficult to park on road in the summer.

Can't beat it! The apartment is stunning as is the location. Beautiful furnishings and very well equipped. Excellent value. We had an issue unconnected with the flat or our booking and the host was amazing. Will definitely return and would highly recommend.

The location was amazing! Think I picked the best spot on the Island as I thought a lot of the Island needed some TLC. Which is like a lot of places after lockdown.

On your site it initially shows that there is a facility for parking. This is misleading as there is no where onsite to park. This should be made clearer earlier on your site. When I booked I assumed I could park on the property. The info on necessary street/public car parking should be more prominent. Nevertheless despite this inconvenience we enjoyed our stay.

The location is superb and we have everything there already present a family needs. Very carefully thought out and tells us the host is ready to go the extra mile.

The double duvet in the master bedroom could have been a bit bigger but never a real spoiler. Sleeping was very very nice/.

Everything was great. So much more than we expected. Very comfortable and it made us feel relaxed immediately. Felt very homey. We found the accommodation had so many little extras. The view was great. Restaurants nearby were good. The host has done a wonderful job. We have recommended it to our friend on the island as they often get people asking for recommendations on where to stay.

Amazing sea views and very comfortable.

There is no parking and the weather was great which meant the Esplanade was busy and hard to park.

It’s proximity to the beach, having the balcony to sit out on, a fully functioning kitchen.

Perfect location. Lovely views and very quiet. Easy to park. Everything needed close by. Great restaurants along the beachfront. Apartment was very clean. Key was in a lock box so very accessible. Hosts very responsive. I hope to return.
