This is a charming, well maintained property in Santa Rosa. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and beautiful appliances for cooking, or if you loved to bake. It has an extensive cookbook collection to enjoy, while sipping tea and coffee or sitting on the patio enjoying the lovely landscaped yards. The host is very responsive and easy to reach if needed. I would highly recommend this property.

Beautiful, classic home in a lovely neighborhood. We spent most evenings enjoying the large backyard. We could live in this house and be very happy!

Cheryl is great! Her home is wonderful! We booked it for the July 4 weekend, which ended up being so warm that we had to cancel our plans to be outdoors and spend most of the time at the property. My wife, in particular, loved the place, and key highlights were the garden with many wonderful trees that had amazing fruits, and the hot tub! The hot tub was so easy to operate, and so clean! The place was stocked with almost everything we needed and very tastefully decorated. We would love to return at a time that offers better weather.

We had such an excellent stay at Cheryl's house/home. Cheryl presents her house as a home. Everything that you have in the comforts of your own home is available. The house has such an excellent, positive vibe and feel. You can feel the positive energy of the history of the house and the care Cheryl has put into it. Very quiet neighborhood and just a few blocks from Wili's Wine Bar. I have already recommended to family and friends.

This place is perfect! Clean, comfortable, and within a short, beautiful drive to tons of wineries. Walking distance from a nice local market. Courtesy bottle of wine with a nice message, happy birthday in our case as it was my wife’s birthday. Has everything you need for a lovely weekend or extended stay. Hot tub and fenced in back yard were perfect. Orange trees smelt beautiful!

This is a fabulous property that is meticulously clean. We were close to wineries and stores and had an absolute fabulous time cooking in the chef’s dream kitchen.

Everything was absolutely wonderful. Cheryl has thought of everything that someone needs staying in her house. The kitchen was exquisite and we will be back!

We loved the time we spent in Santa Rosa. Cheryl’s property was clean, beautiful and close to family. It is located on a somewhat busy street but it was a quick drive to our relatives house so that was nice. We had a great stay and would recommend this property to others looking to visit the area.

Absolutely delightful! The pride Cheryl takes in serving her guests is unmatched. She even had a celebratory bottle of bubbly waiting for us when we arrived for our anniversary weekend. 10/10 recommend!!

The Cottage is a lovely home away from home. The yard is well maintained and a beautiful place for hanging out before a day of activities. The kitchen is well equipped with high end appliances and cookware to suit any cooking needs. I needed to make a tart for an event while we were there and forgot my large tart pan. To my surprise, there was one there. The location was perfect for us to be able to visit other family living and staying in the area. Check out the restaurant in the Flamingo Hotel for an experience that will take you back decades.

I was the reservation holder of the vacation rental, which meant my name was on the house. In securing the reservation under my name, I assume all responsibility for ensuring there is no damage to the property. I also ensure that I take any action necessary to remove any threat to the safety of myself and the home. My family member became a threat to my safety and security of the home. This person was slamming items and verbally attacking me. The owner was at the property watering her lawn, after I politely said it was okay to come by, when I stepped outside to let her know that the other person in the house was being asked to leave because she was causing a disturbance and threatened my safety. I locked the person out of the home while I waited on the police. The homeowner then unlocked the door to let the the unstable person back in the house without notifying me. I couldn’t believe it! I didn’t know what to do. I called my family. My family told me to ask her to leave again. The police refused to come to the house and the guest ultimately physically attacked me after asking her to leave again. The police finally came after I called a second time. Now, the homeowner wants to withhold my deposit for fear that she will receive a citation due to the police and medical assistance that disturbed the public. My hope is that the homeowner refund my deposit and never repeat this action again. I am still contemplating legal action, especially after receiving the notification that she is withholding my deposit.

We loved Cheryl’s home! It was perfectly cleaned and stocked with towels, blankets, kitchenware etc. She even had a little hot tub kit set for us. The kitchen is a dream and the back yard is stunning. We used the hot tub every day of our stay. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. Cheryl was very communicative and was able to accommodate our early check in which was much appreciated so we could make our 4pm French Laundry reservation! Would love to stay here again. If you are staying with friends or another couple, make sure you know one bathroom has a tub and the other has a shower. The bathroom with a shower is not attached to a bedroom though, so you can still maintain privacy. Both bedrooms have a sliding glass door to the backyard too!

We can't say enough about this property. 1) Centrally-located between all of wine country including, Sonoma, Napa, Petaluma, Healdsburg, St Helena and more. Plenty of activities in Santa Rosa and wonderful restaurants everywhere. Walking distance to a small grocery store, really good restaurant (Willi's) and beautiful walks among the neighborhood. 2) The Backyard! Beautifully landscaped backyard provided us a sanctuary to rest and recoup. Nice deck for having morning coffee, or an evening glass of wine and dinner. A nice-sized lawn to relax in the grass. The house is on a relatively active street but the backyard is super tranquil for being so close to everything! 3) Host. Our host was truly wonderful and absolutely contributed to our experience. She's extremely knowledgeable about wine and food as well as activities. Pretty much anything we asked, she had the best place to go or best thing to do. Highly recommend.

The Encore was the perfect vacation home for my daughter and me to celebrate her 30th birthday in Sonoma Valley and the surrounding area. This home was not only beautiful inside, but the backyard was private and like an oasis with the gorgeous landscaping, hot tub, and separate massage room. Cheryl went above and beyond providing everything you could possibly need to make her home even more warm and welcoming. The location is within a short distance of so many wonderful attractions. I would highly recommend this home to anyone visiting this part of California. We hope to stay there again whenever we can return to the west coast in the future.
