You should suggest, at least, to the travelers or guests when they reach Coimbra by bus or trian. take a taxi 🚕 or public bus number ....? 🚌 from bus station or train station to hostel.

price is good....and breakfast is good..

there is no living room to chill...

24h reception, nice stuff there. Breakfast was nice (you get like one slice of ham and one of cheese and cannot ask for more).

Mixed bath. It smells like pee where you shower. You go past the urinals to get to the shower. No kitchen. No living room.

Great value for the money and it also includes breakfast. The bread is amazing. It was located close to my school and the hospital where I had to work. I also like walking so, from my point of view, it's located close to the old city. Really nice staff.

Honestly, the downstairs bathroom was a kind of stinky. Maybe it was something wrong with the plumbing. Also, it's inconvenient to have just one shower cabin available for the entire room, with no door, just a shower curtain and just one place available to hang your shower bag and clothes. In the end, it was ok but just a bit uncomfortable.

Simple, basic, good value youth hostel near the student end of town... easy to park your hire car in the street, for free, which is impossible in the mire modern city centre hostels... (thats why i stay there often...)

This old style hostel is now showing its age and now needs a) painted b) some new cabin style beds with curtains and c) the bathrooms need re-done especially for the basement rooms which are ancient...

Booked late and found this place still available. Large room where you have space to move around without knocking someone over. Assigned showers so easier to share.

No kitchen at all — no microwave, fridge, utensils, nothing. No place to be other than the room or bathroom. Not enough outlets. Not enough lockers. Someone in my bed when I arrived. Blankets available but seem to have been used previously and not sure if washed as sloppily put back in lockers. Breakfast available but included watered-down orange juice, watered-down coffee, bad cereal, over-ripe apples, and (if you ask) a roll or two with a slice of ham and a slice of cheese.

An old building with old furnitures. It s clean and 6bed dorm is big enough. WI fi is excellent. 30 min walking to the city center and bus station for a well trained person. It s on the hill. Bus station just in the corner although. Very good price and a basic breakfast. So it s a good deal

Only one key for a 6ded dorm. For 6 different persons with a different schedule. So as you can imagine door must be always open or somebody must open door anytime when knocking

Had some issues during this time with wifi and other contractions stuff also reservation misunderstandings . atmosphere is nice after all and Might be due to the chain under budgeting them those stuff acure cos staff was usually ok Thought the desk person did not believe me at first there that was no wifi in rooms. Thers no reception till 16:00 and no answering in the chain email I did not receive this ones email And the night guy is of no help. Thers no public kitchen or public places to chill and thers some mold on showers selling that works only downstairs I usually dont give reviews cos what ever and would not care but this was not nice and if it was just priced lower it was fine Which it should due to all those stuff

Nice hostel for a few days in Coimbra. The hostess is a very nice and helpful lady.

Beds were very comfortable and clean rooms. Toilets and showers clean and close to the rooms. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great!

Location as when we stay the buses were on strike and we had to walk half and hour up the hill. I guess with the bus there wouldn’t be any problem.

Not recommended for pilgrims

The room was simple but comfortable, the staff friendly and helpful. Everything was clean. Great cue for money;)
